"Nobody goes to small town teams when big city lights are an option"

-Greg Monroe signs with Bucks.

"What free agents will ever go to NY, they suck"

-NY makes considerable roster improvements in a year where intense pressure was on.

Hmm...bring on the 2016 free agents.:takedat:

:mjlol::mjlol: Cats talking about 2016 NBA Free Agency, I cannot take the rebuild seriously until Carmelo Anthony is no longer wearing a Knicks jersey. :yeshrug::yeshrug::yeshrug:

IF I were a bucks fan last year and I was talking about free agents...what would you have to say breh?

This year people have literally taken less.money to play in more consistently good & positive situations.

People are going to teams that want to win.

GMs are trying to change the usual perception of some teams.

You're on the wrong side of assumptions. People are breaking them this year.I mean even the idea of "superteams" seem to be a distant past considering who won the chip.

Relax breh.

Again I ask who do you think is realistic for the Knicks in 2016 that will make them contenders? Carmelo Anthony being traded is the most beneficial move from a long term standpoint.

I'm not going to embarrass myself by saying names that you'll just shoot down because you think they won't come.

But let me ask you...if the Knicks show themselves to be a nice sleeper team...fukk that a 40 win team...why wouldn't a free agent come?

Free agents will come especially if the next are already a playoff team and have space...But it also depends on who that FA is...

Horford--Already in a good situation with Atlanta, just came off of being the #1 seed and ATL will likely be a top 3 seed once again. Incentive to continue chemistry with Teague and co. more enticing than anything the Knicks roster can offer.

Parsons--Even if you do get him he does not make you a contender, and he may not opt out and become a free agent in 2016.

Conley--The triangle does not need a really good PG to succeed and MC will be 29 when the 2016 season starts, given a large contract/making him a large piece of the puzzle would not make much sense given his age and how deep the PG position is. Given those factors he would more than likely want to go to an already established contender as the last missing piece, something the Knicks won't be at the time of his free agency decision.

I can see the appeal that a guy like Derrick Will would have to Phil. My impression is that Phil expects DWill to play a role similar to Draymond Green, and if Green can play the 4 than DWill should be able to as well. With that said I expect Dwill to be our starting 4 at the start of the season but time will tell. The signing seems largely underwhelming to the masses but I can understand the rationale in which Phil is operating with.

And I know Dwill has quite a ways to go to stack up with Draymond, but their measurements are pretty much identical.
