11 7 this year:ehh:

17 10 next year:ahh:

In 5 years :noah:Nerds are gonna make up new advanced metrics to measure the porzingawds greatness

I like the Pat Beverly and Brandon Bass suggestions.
Beverly: Spot up 3 point shooter who will be a nuisance on D along with Grant. A solid fit for the triangle.
Bass: Good fill in starter until the eventual takeover :blessed:

I like the Bass signing a dude like that can play the position until Kristops is ready and than go to the bench with no issue....I noticed you don't have Calderon on the squad I think he has value as a veteran PG and 3pt shooter plus he doesn't turn the ball over...

ame do you all still have the MLE, LLE and any trade exceptions?if so you could still greatly improve the roster...

I know we only get one exception once we spend our cap, but I'm not sure how which (think it's the MLE). I'd like to move Calderon mainly because of the injury concerns. He's a good player and has the intelligence to have an impact but he couldn't stay healthy last year, so I'd like to turn his salary into a more reliable player (preferably a quality defender).

I remember Derrick Williams killing us last season...he looked rejuvenated.

Then again, who didn't kill us last season...

To be honest, these hope to catch lightning in a bottle type players like Derrick might be our only chance to make some serious noise instead of just not being a lottery team (which seems to be our goal.)

This article right here is exactly the way I'm looking at the Knicks this offseason,

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...nicks-are-putting-together-a-proper-offseason

Instead, they're building what appears to be more of a basketball roster than they previously had. It doesn't mean the Knicks are fixed. They still have holes and they need another offseason of smart spending and a higher salary cap to keep filling in their depth chart and rotation. But they're building progress within the framework of the organization.

I don't know if Derrick's a good fit if he still thinks he can play the 3. He needs to get over himself and commit to the 4.

The dude does have talent and if anything will be a productive role player.

couldnt be happier with the patience, and intelligent, low money choices phil is making in lopez and afflalo...

I'm not mad at the moves at the same time their role players and will not decide the fate of this franchise

Our future rests on Porzingis..he needs to be great because we're not getting a franchise changer in free agency

you have to build from the ground up, the idea that "role players" wont change the fate of the franchise is exactly how you end up jumping out and maxing amare just because he's available...

no one player in this free agency can change the fate of a franchise outside of LMA... he was never coming here... so overall im happy with every decision phil has made in the draft and FA.

I like Derrick Williams, I think he's starting to finally get "it".
