I have reality on my side. The team is visibly below average and was awful last year. Its the refs fukking us out of free throws though, not the fact that we're a jumpshooting team that cant get to the rim. clearly it is good for the NBA for the Knicks to suck, so they've conspired to keep the best player in the nba and his stellar supporting cast out of the playoffs. You keep slamming away the your keyboarding posting the same 5 statistics acting like you're convincing anyone.
Cole Aldrich's 2013 PER > Marc Gasol's. Aldrich must be better than Gasol.
Andrea the god was in the 91th percentile in man to man defense
Lets just look at stats that support our argument and nothing else. Taj has a much better DRtg and ORtg? Doesnt matter.
Theres dozens more of these anyone can find. Dude plays help defense like you switched to the wrong player on 2k and is a staple on shaqtin a fool.
This is almost embarrassing. How can you brehs condone this nonsense? The longer we support these bums is the longer we have to watch them play on this team. We aren't going anywhere with these dumbies on our squad.
Miami and OKC are jumpshooting teams. They had no problem getting calls, did they? Swish, 'Melo, Felton, Tim, Shump, Bargs, Beno, Tyler, and Touré can't get to the rim? Please.
Show me a post where I neglected to mention the poor play of certain players and only mentioned the refs, liar. People lie when they don't have arguments.
You won't even acknowledge the cheating. You're a poser. You're posing as a NYK fan.
Of course the league wanted NY to miss the Playoffs. The refs eliminated NY in the Pacers series 2 seasons ago. A healthy NY was a horrible matchup for Miami both seasons. Despite the fact that BK swept Miami last season, they didn't beat them in convincing fashion like NY did, and I predicted that Miami would make short work of those old-timers. Woodson was trash, the team struggled early with key players coming off of injury, many others went down later (only 4 players missed less than 16 games), and the cheating from refs all contributed to them being 1 measly game out of the Playoffs last season. Yup, they're trash.
I'm not trying to convince you. That's not why I post. I post because I want to participate in the discussions, so make another assumption.
I don't acknowledge PER at all. That's a stat that SleazSPN made up to exalt certain players, so make another assumption.
Defensive rating is useless. Lj had a decent one for a number of years and he's always been putrid on d, so make another assumption.
at you responding to percentile stats with still images of bad plays. And you got the nerve to call
me a "cherry-picker".
I can show you examples like that of any good defender in the league. Last season, Bargs held players to 48.3% shooting at the rim. That's better than Tyson Chandler (51.5%), Kenyon Martin (49.1%), and Sam (52%). Bargs is a rim protector who will block you multiple times per possession if you try to just walk up to the rim when he's playing Center (see the 0:59 mark of the this video for an example):
He also punks Dirk and D12 because he's a good 1-on-1 defender. My video shows stronger good defense than your screen shots shows bad defense and here's 2 more:
You can dismiss stats when it's convenient for you 'til times get better; it won't change the fact that they're more reliable than a screen shot of
individual plays. Notice how I didn't use my video the way you used your screen shot. I used mine to illustrate
a play and used stats to illustrate
a season. You have nada to back up your claims of Bargs actual
seasons on defense (
not individual plays). You the type of dude who will use Lj's blocks in a screen shot to say he's a good defender
. Your logic is like showing me a highlight of 'Melo having poor shooting nights and poor rebounding nights and then saying, “see, he can't shoot or rebound”, regardless of the stats that say he averaged 27.4 on 45.2% and 8rpg. If you're not gonna post
all the full games he played, so we can count how many of them he had as bad defensive nights, then...
Thanks for contradicting yourself by pointing out Barg's putrid help d while neglecting to condemn those players on your screen shots that failed to help when Bargs got beaten. Fact is, it's
a players responsibility to stay in front of their
own man. When you don't, you make other players have to to leave the man they have been told to keep from scoring. Bargs keeps his man in front of him more than most players in the league. Unless you wanna argue that most players are in the 91st percentile on d.
