The arrest of Ar Ab has left a power vaccum in Phily and brehs is vying for control.
Since Philly area is the oldest in America besides Boston, the boundaries of the city been the same since the consolidation of 1854.
The city is stuck and can't expand even for tax purposes because those towns/counties don't want to be a part of Philadelphia and some of those towns are rich. Whereas Phoenix, Houston, Los Angeles etc... were able to grab land all around to make their cities larger. So you have a small city with horrible taxes and no room for growth. Poor population from the south/racism/Jobs going to the neighboring towns created Philadelphia today.
The streets in NY be narrow af. But Philly streets are on another level of narrow,hate driving out there

Crazy because some of those towns have millionaires and billionaires. Very old money and establish money. The other towns listed has a strong middle-class population. I can bet you erverything that majority of the citizens of those towns once lived in Philly until minorities moved in. Some of the biggest slum neighborhoods were well to do Jewish Polish neighborhoods until the blacks came from the south. Them cacs left their churches and businesses in 5 years top.
Being Muslim is a fade in Philly because the criminals took over the religion in the 50s and 60s. The first Black Mafia was based on Muslims and Malcolm x (A lot of people don't know X lived in Philly for a couple of years) tried to clean it up not knowing Prophet Elijah Muhammad was cool with it working with Shabazz X. Philly Mob made Frank Matthews/Italian Mob and Irish mob backed down.
Ali came to philly for muscle against the mob in boxing. He lived in Wynnefield and Cherry Hill throughout his boxing career.
