Pocket watch one of the richest companies on earth brehsI'm sure it may be profitable and helpful to the devs, but MS spending all these billions and will want a return on investment sooner than later. GP already ain't profitable (they've alluded to this countless times). They need to get those subscriptions up to make this make sense. If Call of Duty was allowed to be on XBox/Gamepass only, that would have helped. But as you see, these other countries are not going to allow them to monopolize like that.
The deal will go through eventually but it will be under strict conditions that MS not make CoD exclusive to Xbox Platforms. One way to get around this is eventually put Gamepass on other platforms (which is the ultimate goal of MS).
Microsoft could throw money at gamepass for decades and it still wouldn’t make a major dent in their bank account.
Furthermore Microsoft themselves have come out to say gamepass isn’t burning money, it’s sustainable as it is right now.

We can pull multiple quotes of the juelzing with them talking around the question of GP's profitability. We've done that over the years on here.
Games fall off all the time, having all of the CoDs on GP would be huge but will it be enough of a service seller is the question. Especially if they aren't allowed to make it exclusive.
Ain't like their track record with established games and running them into the ground isn't out there.

He is, same shyt he said about Bethesda but once that deal went through they announced all that shyt was going exclusive. The fact that they're trying to force a garentee that Microsoft won't make Activision/blizzard games exclusive is telling, because Microsoft never put any of these promises on paper. Once this deal goes through and all contracts are fulfilled, all bets are off.Activision is already multi-platform.
