Soulslike joints don't move this fast. Lol
That and the video I watched with the Flying Guillotine boss where they kept dying and on the last try I noticed the health bar taking more chunks out of his health with each hit.
I may have to start this one on Hard difficulty when it drops, though.

I don't know which video it was, but the chunky chick that said she played it need to go back and watch old kung fu flicks. Get herself cultured.

Thats a good idea, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, CTHD were all fire... whats that one movie were dude is dressed in all black with the rice hat that has blades in it? This game looks like that flick

My main knock against this game is the art direction. I hate how desaturated and grey it is. I wish it was more chinese movie inspired like Crouching tiger

Just watched his vid and yea I agree that's one thing that's bothering me. Environment look really generic and just full wood blandness. I also hope there's some type of gear customization the clothes are dreary. I want something like the movie Hero

Honestly they should've followed Ghosts of Tsushima example far as the the world

This game isn't getting the attention it deserves (yet) but it's one of my most anticipated games and will probably be a huge hit.

Either PlayStation or Xbox really need to pick this up and lean resources into it.


PlayStation might be good on their action hacking and slash soul light/like games quotas though.


But Xbox unless they got a Ninja gaiden project in the works this is what they should lean into


Edit: for them their selves it should release on everything. Probably won't happen on switch 2.

But day 1 PC/Xbox/PS5 would be max Fomo and free advertising for them.

We need more action games that takes inspiration from ninja gaiden and DMC.

Watching Max video I like how the devs took the souls level design which is always the strongest points of those games that I want other games to take from and not the combat.

Although I find their worlds dreary and gloomy, I'll definitely enjoy it in this game.
The brightness is in it's combat system.

It ain't on Xbox, fool. PS5/PC already slated, like the title says. It currently has a playable demo tour. It's getting plenty of attention.

This ain't in Xbox game wheelhouse, so it wouldn't sell shyt over there nor would it even get the traction ya'll gamepass idolators think it would there either since it's not enough "pew-pew-pew, Murica" in it. It'll do great where it's landing tho, long as the gameplay continues to hold up.

Also IIRC, is running on Unreal 5, which if that's the case, @ a Switch release.

Yeah, I love the souls and nioh games but def hope to see a return of the early 2000's style hack n slash games
