Real talk I heard r&b battles long before I heard my first rap battle. My parents playing records, arguing over who was better. Grandma doing the same shyt. Even in the 80s/90s when I was a kid, replays of shyt like this were readily available on TV:



Even if you eliminate the race factor....there were rock band battles lmao. Beatles vs The Stones. Really shows how laughably narrow Rosenberg's music IQ is.
