But am i the only dude who fukked with Chronicles of Narnia? WTF happen to the movies and why did they fall off?

From what I read they didn't make enough money and I guess in order to keep going they'd have to cut budget but then they couldn't find someone who could do it right on the proposed budget

Never got into those books. It was one of those ones we were forced to read in school and I finished the first one and barely read the one my group was assigned, the silver chair. I remember we did a group book report on that shyt and I was quiet as a church mouse until I did an advertisement for e.1999 eternal on cassette promising all your favorite joints like "1st of the month" and "budsmokers only" that shyt was one of the few Bart Simpson-esque moments I've ever had in school

Turning a 300 page children's book into a trilogy (9+ hours total) of films

Hollywood greed. That shyt should have been one movie. Maybe two - ie the second would be the big battle. I still haven't seen these movies and won't anytime soon due to the fukkery.

Gotta feel bad for Jackson on one hand, but on the other hand he's the one who was on board with Del Toro making this shyt into a trilogy. That decision (turning it into 3 movies) is simply ridiculous money grubbing bullshyt.

Got me thinking about those damn narnia books breh when you mentioned it and i know someone on here, may have been @kp404 told me I should get back into them but that 4th grade experience with them just made me turn away from them.

With Tolkien and Lewis being friends ... its weird how similiar the books are.. then again its not weird

Breh, to tell you the truth. I think that first movie is what got me into all the fantasy Harry Potter/LOTR ish. Read the book in school and that was the only reason i was interested in the movie.
