Stretching that short fukking story into 3 long ass movies was a dumb idea to begin with. They should have just made one good Hobbit film.

I never understood making a trilogy out of a relatively short single book. Of course I understood, the aspect of making bread; the trilogy made a ton of money. I just watched the last two movies last week (

As a Harry Potter fiend I'm always down for that universe but I do also acknowledge its a cash grab. Trying not to be too cynical about it

There were already 4 books out when the first movie dropped
So much untapped potential still left in the HP universe. Stories that can still be told. It seems like Rowling is just now waking up to that.
I mean look at stuff like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and at how the their universes and lore have grown throughout the years through various forms of media(books, movies, games.etc).It just felt like a waste to leave it all at 7 books.
