What about Doug Pederson, Sean Payton, Mike McCarthy, Gary Kubiak, Jon Gruden- you can't say since 2000 and then leave out guys because of current age but they were under your age line when they won.

Who do you think designed that defense with Sherman/Chancellor/Thomas? It was Pete if I remember right. If the Raiders draft right and keep Crosby, that defense might be a problem in a year or two.

I am aware. Teams got better at attacking their system even when the talent was still elite and he was slow to adjust. The last five years or so they were behind the times schematically on both sides.

He is elite as a motivator and program builder though so has a high floor. Question is if he willing to modernize his approach far as scheme.
