OCT 31st is the Japanese version so unless you know Japanese or you're content with translating by drawing or typing or using an OCR to translate(which requires some japanese knowledge), you might as well wait until 2020. I guess it'll release in Feb 2020 since originally P5 came out September 16th, 2016 and the original US date was valentines Day 2017(2/14/17). It got delayed to April though.

It's releasing in a crowded time in the US if my prediction is correct(Feb 2020~April).

Even for me it's a bad time this year but I'm hyped anyway but damn COD MW is on OCT 25, this on the 31st, Death stranding a week later

Just as I said back in August, this will be unlocked tomorrow at 11AM ET(it will be 12AM OCT 31st in JP.) I'm still rocking COD and Death Stranding drops a week later

I'll probably play for a few hours and post impressions of what's changed especially in the 1st few hours.

Haven't gotten to anything really new yet but I've only played about an 1:40 minutes. I'm basically on the first day of school after Ryuji and you escape the castle from the metaverse. So far only one new scene has been shown and the rest the same. A few minor things like seeing Haru in the hallway in the beginning.

If you read on Resetera a lot, you'll start to think this is a big deal. They got guys angry over there because the "homophobic" stuff in Persona 5 is still in Royal. The two gay guys who hit on Ryuji and Ryuji running away from them is homophobic. dudes already going "i'm skipping this!' over that.

Never really mattered cause it wasn't really canon to the main story really.

That's what I was thinking. Any romance in Persona is always separate from the main plot and the main game barely acknowledges it.

Game looks cleaner thanks to the 4K support. Looks very sharp. Loading times are very fast too.

I noticed they have Haru visible now from the beginning. First day when you in school you see her in the hallway talking to a teacher.

oh the load times are better, I may drop the og right now, the load times are tedious in a otherwise fantastic game.
