Discouraging people from trades is what got black people in the positions they are in today

While others work together in both spaces to keep getting they bread up

Learn the tricks of the trade then go open their own postal business

Welp they got kids and relatives that went to school that teach them how to apply for certain loans to start they own shyt

You see how brains and brawn work in tandem

I’d advise anyone to thoroughly research any trade they are interested in and actually speak to people in that field before pursuing.

I’d advise anyone to thoroughly research any trade they are interested in and actually speak to people in that field before pursuing.

Y'all are completely wrong. Sure trades are hard on the body to a certain extent if you're being stupid. But nikkas going to the gym everyday anyway. Plus the modern day trade worker is not the same as back in the 70s or even in the 90s. There's so much tech on a site to make your job easier. Lifts, tools are lighter, and theres a lot of safety rules in place so you dont end up hurting yourself. Plus most tradesman work at their own pace, no one is working like an animal for a full 8 hours. If you're good at your job and eventually come up with some coin you can be your own boss and hire the next generation to do the grunt work. You can just become a foreman. If you're union it's even better you can retire at 55 with a crazy pension.

Trust me you'd rather go into a trade unless you're shooting for the top degrees in college like engineering, computer science, finance, etc.

Yeah I don't know why everyone swears being in skilled trades is back breaking work. Hell I don't rememer the last time I 'broke my back' at work, my feet are sore at the end of the day, but that's what happens when you stand up for 10 hours out the day. The 10 hour shifts and 6 days a week when you are working overtime are rough at first, but you aren't always working overtime and eventually you adjust to it and it isn't so rough anymore. It's a stigma people have with blue collar work though, that if you are doing blue collar work you are breaking your back which is nowhere close to reality.

Electrician's are eating GOOD off these right now and will continue to eat good for the next two decades off of building data centers. I haven't worked on anything besides a data center for the past 4 years all I have done is build data centers. Plenty of overtime and they are actually rather simple to build when compared to building other buildings(looking at Hospitals here in particular).
