I remember when I was at one of the student stores last year and they had a shirt making Tressel and Ohio State. I was thinking this was typical PSU "we are better than you" attitude and that something like that could easily happen at Penn State. Never did I imagine it would this horrible and bad that OSU tattoo scandal looks like a parking ticket in comparsion.

The NCAA gonna throw Penn State in the bushes.....
and just 24 hours after JoePa's statue was thrown in the bushes

I can't wait to see MOAR angry white people on ESPN tomorrow.

And SASmith will be all "I told you so!" Skip will pull that straight face that I hate so well.

Eh, their beef should be with the program not the NCAA. The NCAA for once is allegedly gonna man the fukk up and do what it has to do. It's all in the game, nikka :manny:

Meh, Joe Pa is dead. The pedo is going to jail for lfe. And whoever else is left out there should be rounded up and thrown away without a key. Just don't see why a whole community should be Ethered like that:yeshrug: For once, the people at the top of the ladder should be held accountable, and the people at the bottom should be able to move on however they see fit. But hey, "Penn St. is a cac organization so let's blow them up!:heh:" -Typical Coli Poster

But what you seem to fail to understand is it always happens like this...

With the whole USC/Bush scandal, NOBODY on that team had shyt to do with Reggie, he was far gone into the NFL before the hammer came out...

And I can never feel any amount of sympathy to an organization that took part in hiding sex abuse against young black kids.....that shyt can never get past my soul....

my opinion on this is that the leadership should definitely be punished

but how do you punish the players for what the men over them did?

This was a handful of brass at Penn State that didnt do the right thing and enabled a child rapist, but the players, fans, alumni had zero to do with this(correct me if im wrong)

i would support a large settlement awarded to victims and felony charges against those who allowed it to happen :manny:

I don't agree with MOST of the shyt the NCAA pulls. But in your example, Reggie was actually an ineligble player (although I think nikkas should be able to take a little money - I know I did:lolbron:). But the Penn St. situation involves the higher ups and I think the full burden of responsibility/punishment should be levied against them. Cacs always find a way to squirm out of situations while everybody else takes the brunt of the punishment.

You see how they wanted to kill yall over Killa 2 years ago....shyt, we "lost" our ACC Championship from 09 over 300 dollars worth of clothes given to Bebe by his boy who he didn't know was starting to fukk with an agent. Even when he gave the shyt back, the NCAA didn't care (granted the fukk who investigated was an NCAA official who was a UNC alum...what a conflict of interest :shaq2: ).

If they allow the players to transfer without penalty, I have no problem with it.

And the message it sends is don't allow coaches/image to become bigger than the university.

Exactly. The current players/coaches/students should be able to move on, but the higher-ups should be thrown in the bushes; they were the ones that perpetuated the shyt.

Well, maybe the people who committed these actions should have thought about that before making such actions. They are the ones with a dedication to the town, the people, and the team for future generations to come. Considering their actions, these things are obviously not very high on their radar of priorities. Why should the NCAA care if the people directly connected to the community don't?

Why should the NCAA feel responsible when the people who were supported by all of these fans/vendors/etc. don't feel responsible?
