Penn St Removes Paterno Statue/NCAA about to Drop the Hammer

The NCAA is straight trash, and if they drop this much napalm on Penn St., those super-conferences need to form and break away from the NCAA like they've planned. How the fukk do you punish the current players, coaching staff, students, merchandisers, vendors etc. that had absolutely nothing to do with this shyt?? There are shop owners and vendors that make a living off PSU football. I think the FBI should trial and prosecute anybody involved in the scandal. But for the NCAA to destroy that entire community is bullshyt. The NCAA is that nikka that wants to stomp on somebody after they've already been knocked out; straight lazy bytch-made cowards. The shyt Sandusky and his goons did is deplorable, but the NCAA is gonna hurt hundreds of thousands of lives with their shyt. They should stay in their lane and let the FBI round up all the scum.

That's what happens when there's no precedent. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Had the NCAA not done anything, the media and general public would have called for the NCAA's head. They're already constantly criticized for handling out ineffective penalties for various violations.

This scandal was so out of bounds that it deserved an out of bounds response by the NCAA. The players will get to transfer and the coaches will find jobs. Everyone else...well...

People who are defending him because of what he did "for the game" are disgusting. But people who are wanting wins stripped so that their coach can move up the rankings also have their priorities in the wrong place.

wins get vacated in most cases of programs running a muck and PST was doing just that. take them wins back thats almost 100 wins gone

He made the decision to protect HIS football program and HIS legacy and disregarded the safety and well being of countless young boys. Again he did all this for himself. He knew what was going on and ALLOWED it to go on. He's basically Sandusky's accomplice in all this. Burn everything he touched.

Nah, the NCAA is historically selective with their enforcement. Having played against Penn. St. several times I have no love for them. But I got less love for the NCAA and their plantation-mentality in lot of things. A lot of nikkas in this thread are giddy about PSU's demise bc they view it as a "cac institution", but there's no greater good-ole boy cac institution than the NCAA. They need to stay in their lane.
