My whole point is the way it works is bullshyt. Not just with this situation, but higher-ups (CEOs, Senators, Chairmen) do shyt and get slapped on the wrist, while everybody underneath gets that bomb dropped on 'em. But whatever..... I know nikkas in here have school bias so they're happy to see Penn St. burn

I dont think sandusky got, or paterno would have gotten a 'slap on the wrist'.

Just as it was just getting good
This had nothing to do with football, as fukked up as it was

It has everything to do with football. Everyone's horrible actions were motivated by protecting the fiscal and on-field performance of the football team. It was probably motivating them more than the threat of legal action.

No one in here cares about rivalries in this case. Penn State was irrelevant to me before and after this event.

These handful of people clearly don't give a fukk about the hundreds of thousands... Why should anyone else?

Sandusky put his deviant sexual wants above these hundreds of thousands

Paterno put football over the lives of hundreds of thousands

The University as a whole put secrecy and football above the hundreds of thousands.

The NCAA does so and you're mad. :shaq2: You're mad at the wrong people here.

:pachaha:ain't mad son. Surprised that so many folks are in here with pitchforks and firesticks. Logically, I don't see why its so complicated to punish the actual offenders for once, and leave everybody else in peace. So because hundreds of thousands of people were naive/ignorant about all this, we should throw them in the bushes too. Alright

Of course the ATL
:wtf:So the actions of a handful of people should fukk with the lives of hundreds of thousands?? Why is it so hard to target the offenders? Anybody with any knowledge of this shyt should be thrown in bushes. A lot of the players and students are the same age as the victims... they ain't have shyt to do with it.

@ the bold, that has ALREADY happened. Even if Penn State werent to receive any punishment, the pain & damage from this cover up impacts the millions of alumni, former players & any one who was ever associated with Penn State. The damage needs to be punitive to Penn State as a program and as a school because the lives of numerous young men were destroyed to uphold a false idol and a fukkin game

As has already been said, the offenders have been targeted. Sandusky is gonna die in jail. Paterno is DEAD. Schultz (former VP), Spanier (former President) & Curley (former AD) will all have their day in court. These perps are all going down. That's still not enough...if you think these punishments are about punishing people who had nothing to do with the cover up, you're missing the point

There is no way to chop the head off without killing the body. Unfortunately the vendors, security and all the other people who feed off of the program are going to have to take the fall. In this regard it's like a company shutting down the local mill to maintain profits even though it puts everyone there out of work.

You clearly don't know how consequences work. Damage is perpetual.

Sandusky knew he would shame the university into a shythole when he touched little boys. He did not care, many times over. No one else should.

I know nikkas in here have school bias so they're happy to see Penn St. burn
I have no bias against Penn St. I have never rooted for or against the team. But I'm not going to debate against what's right.

And the message it sends is don't allow coaches/image to become bigger than the university.

On point. These penalties are making an example of what happens when a community turns a man into a God. Pedo State's Board of Trustees had opportunities to exercise their authority over the athletic department, but just like the janitors who saw Sandusky in the showers, they didn't have the balls to stand up to Paterno.

One man offers an opinion of dissent and nikkas get riled up :umad:

Had no idea nikkas would get so emotional :ohhh:

Since I played college ball and had to deal with the NCAA, I think it's a bytch-made organization. I've spoken to other former players, and they're of the same frame of mind as me: go after the administrators and higher-ups. But whatever.... keep the lynch mob going :heh:

No one knows yet for sure but I'm told by #psu official one of the #NCAA sanctions could be taking the wins away from joe pa from 1998 on

Also hearing from #psu official sanctions could b 4 yr bowl ban + 5-10 yr scholarship restrictions. That's along w taking wins bk fr joe pa
