I can understand women wanting to keep up the charade of dating. They get a free meal or whatever without putting in a lot of effort. But I never understood why dudes c/s this ''men should pay on the 1st date shyt'' when it doesn't benefit you at all. Nobody should be told how to spend the money they worked hard for. If women can't hang out with me w/o me coming out pocket regardless of the amount, that means she never really wanted to be with me in the first place

I personally will pay because it's not a big deal to me. Usually I can recoup it later down the line and have the girl spending way more on me anyway.
I will say tho, that I learned my lesson with POF chicks and started meeting them at coffee shops. Nothing is worse that meeting up with a chick and breaking bread only to find out that she's not as pretty as advertised.

first date should be casual, like coffee shop or walk in the park .. where the most you'll have to spend is like 10 bucks, most times they'll offer to pay their part. you can buy the girl whatever and if she likes you you'll have a second date in no time. i say don't buy all the time but don't let her buy all the time either, balance that ish out.
