Most definitely right, but it still took awhile for the rules to be implemented full force. Teams like the Ravens, Steelers, Bears etc..were still bullying teams. For five to six years after the initial change. 2011 is when it started getting really pinballish. Rookie QBs throwing 400 in their debut, backup QBs throwing 6 td passes, Tim Tebow beating the No.1 ranked scoring defense in the playoffs. I wasnt comparing Manning in the playoffs to Mahomes, because despite rule changes and eras, Mahomes is an all time elite playoff QB, likely the best.

Trust me, as a Brady fan, I know. I still get salty when ppl blame Brady for how "soft" the NFL became, when Manning is the only one to clearly campaign for a rule change and like Andy Dufresne, he got it!!! Some would say he cheated to win championships(forming superteams). If a young star comes into the nba and rattles off a quick two championships "the right way" its a wrap for Bron possibly. I already think Kobes going to close back in once Bron retires. They really were tryint to make Giannis that guy lowkey.

There's zero drop offs from brady. Actually it's slightly better than his career bulk stats average. But brady to me surpassed the stats itself. Brady is more than stats.
Also don't forget what Joe Montana did in the SB. Mahomes need to overcome Joe Montana hurdle first.
