Even Brady was commenting on his drop backs. His mechanics are not fine at all. It’s been a problem all season long. His tackle situation obviously is a problem this season but if you look at Mahomes tape this year and say all Is well back there then you are delusional.

Mahomes has been mid this season and it’s okay to admit it.

Brady be talking sometimes,(i do appreciate he’s forgot more than i know, but i also know he’s on tv to sell drama and intrigue) I’d have to look at some all 22,

But let’s grant your mechanics is off

It still doesn’t erase the Swiss cheese that is his o line, no qb can thrive in that with a good pass rush on his face

Bad comparison. This was his Steph Curry 73-9 season

:what:

it’s the perfect analogy
Because before the game started, all we kept hearing is, Patrick is the goat and he is Jordan like by blocking all these other great QBs from winning

that’s why I said he can be LeBron at best
cause there’s nothing wrong with being number 2 and last night Super Bowl was his LeBron moment of shrinking under pressure , looking real scared , seeing ghost etc…etc… when he was with the Miami Heat going against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA finals about a decade & a half ago

If you say so. Curry comparison is better. LeBron didn't win anything prior to the Dallas finals. Curry won and was believing all the praise he was getting, skated throughout the regular season. Everyone was saying their team was better than the 72 win bulls.

Mahomes is def Lebron

Thats without question

However the Heat/Mavs comparison is inaccurate I think. Spurs/Heat part two is the real comparison lol

- For one it was revenge. Spurs narrowly lost the first time. If Timmy makes that hook shot who knows what happens
- Hurts and Kawhi carry themselves similarly (Kawhi a different breed but still) and are similar in terms of the gap between them and Bron/Mahomes
- Spurs were a team with crazy depth just like Philly. Heat and Chiefs are very top heavy
- Spurs ended the Heat dynasty. Eagles have ended/paused the Chiefs'

But you can appreciate the issues start and finish there, if that’s not good, you can’t thrive as a qb
Mahomes was awful in SB55. Him throwing some crazy desperate pass, down 22,while falling down, does not change that. The Chiefs line was ranked 5th this year, btw. They have barely been above average on offense the last two years, and its not just the line. We have watched Lamar and Burrow produce prolific offense with actual below average offensive lines.

This narrative going like "well what could he do with a line that bad", is the same narrative people had 4 years ago 🤣 shyt bout to drive me crazy...

Watching that game it’s no way you saying this knowing they was on his ass like white on rice the whole game against Tampa, the fact that he was getting his passes off despite that hellacious pass rush was a testament to how good he is

It don’t matter if they number one, their best player on the line had to be moved out there to tackle, and he might as well had not been out there they abused that line, i don’t know if you know this, it’s hard to get a rhythm with pressure up the middle and on the edge, Philly did not have to blitz to get pressure i don’t think you or many in this thread truly comprehend/realize this. If i never have to blitz you as a dc you better hang it up cuz your ass is grass and I’m the lawn mower

Do i think they need to revamp some things sure, but none of it matters if the times they face a dominant front 7 they get they head beat in.

After losses the coli likes to do this knee jerk response with out taking the context of the game, “pat shyt the bed” “he’s bad” i think we can all agree he ain’t no slouch, but not getting a true #1 wr the issues with the line, has hurt this offense

Just so we are clear did you see pressure both inside and around the edge all night ?

Did you see they never blitzed right ?

I did but that pressure doesn't explain all of his inaccuracy. The 2015 AFC Championship, saw the Broncos whupping up on Brady something good, and he never looked as off as Mahomes did yesterday. Someone already mentioned it, I've seen Burrow and Lamar under seige with bad line play, and not look this bad. I've seen Rodgers in his day look better than this with bad line play...

He's not winning that game yesterday regardless but it's his decision making we are talking about here. He routinely made bad throws and bad decisions with the football. Once or twice, okay, blame the bad line play. All game long bad decision making and ball placement? That's the quarterback too...

I wish we had the all 22, but if you getting pressured all game and you can’t get in a rhythm, guess what starts happening… you get happy feet, you start seeing ghost, speeding up your progressions, we’ve watched him be dead on too, but let’s cut all that, do you make room for sometimes you have bad games, especially when you getting your ass kicked, happened to Brady twice with the giants and their pass rush no one ever said man Brady is done or off

The Coli don't like Mahomes because he ain't "authentically black". You see how they make every excuse for Lamar Jackson who has a better overall team than Mahomes,
