What you are saying is true but I reject it because this is all created by the owners. They create this fake ass choice between winning and geting your money. fukk that! Teams don't have to choose between the two. It's on them to pay that man his money and put the right pieces around him. They want the cap, not the players. I'm putting the pressure on them. Beyond that we see good-okay QBs get broke off without winning shyt, they continue to not win shyt and get broke off again. Last but no least, this will end up being a sweatheart deal for the Chiefs in 5 years if not sooner.

This is how I look at it. Plus by the time this contract really starts two years from now somebody will probably already have signed a bigger one. And with the length of the whole thing it'll definitely fall into bargain territory towards the back in if he plays anywhere near how he's played the last two years. I didn't care what it took just wanted him signed. Even when his weapons went down and the offensive line had issues he still had the Chiefs offense rolling so I'm not too worried if his contract means one less piece on offense. As long as the defense is average Chiefs should be contenders for the length of this contract.
