Go back and read what a teammate of LeBron said anonymously during the 2018 NBA Finals. He essentially said LeBron caters the offense so he gets his numbers to the detriment of trying to win.

When you're arguably the most physical gifted athlete of all-time its very rare that someone can match your raw physicality. So yes, LeBron has scored most of his points against slower/weaker opponents. Similar to Shaq.

When LeBron does struggle is when he meets a player who can match his raw physicality. Its why Kawhi has been such a bad matchup for him recently. Kawhi is one of the few guys who can match him in both strength and foot speed. Its why LeBron's bully-ball tactics haven't fared as well in his matchups with Kawhi.

Yeah after getting the first 2 rounds off and an ECF against a fraud defrozen team. 2016 finals was peak Bron IMO and my favorite moment of his but the runs leading up the Finals were incredibly light.
