Patrick Beverely isn't the first guy to go at LeBron like this. Deshawn Stevenson, Jason Terry, among others have disrespected him in similar fashion. And those guys also beat him in the Finals. LeBron better hope the Clippers don't beat him this year.
Lets not act like Kobe wasn't playing the entire 2010 playoffs with a broken finger on his shooting hand and still won the championship. Also Andrew Bynum was out in 2008. So its not like the Lakers were at full force. Shouldn't Duncan and Parker be able to handle Kobe and Gasol even with Manu being less than 100% if Duncan is on Kobe's level?
Stop with the excuses. That matchup was the closest we got to a pure Kobe vs Duncan matchup with relatively even teams. I would say Duncan had far more help (but that's beside the point). Either way Kobe didn't come in with much talent. He had just one other all-star (Gasol), a good player in Odom, and a bunch of role players and somehow bodied a Spurs team with 3 Hall of Famers.

Patrick Beverly does not have the cache to make those statements. He's a career roleplayer.
He builds his teams in the same gimmick fashion as the Rockets. Shooters around him to space the floor so the lane is clear. He calls for a high pick n roll so that his defender has to switch off him and a weaker defender has to guard him. Typically someone slower or weaker. Then LeBron uses his physical gifts to force his way to the basket to shoot a layup. If the defense helps he uses his sublime gifts as a passer to find the open man.
As you can see his style of play is very simple. Against weak opponents its very effective. However, great teams with multiple defenders that are elite can expose this system. Its why LeBron has had such a hard time in the Finals against great teams.
First of all, I've never said LeBron took steriods. That's some white boy shyt. I've always said Bron is arguably the most naturally gifted athlete of all-time. And I've always had LeBron in my top 5 all-time. Only recently have I knocked him down to #6 after seeing some prime Wilt Chamberlain in action.

That's like hyping up Matt Ryan or Matt Stafford cause they are top 10 all-time in passing yards. It means nothing cause the game has changed so much.
Given how much they are shooting 3s now that spot in the top 10 won't last long as new names fill up that list.

Talentless fans always get mad when players dont worship Bron. Hes the only player of his stature in any sport that doesn't fully garner the respect of his contemporaries. It's a reason for that
Of course it doesn't. Cold hard stats, rankings, praise from other players etc mean nothing to yall when Lebron is involved.
You can hype up other stats but made 3 pointers seems like the one stat that is super inflated thanks to this era just as passing yards are super inflated in the NFL.
