I'm a boring fan in every sport, cause I don't let irrational thoughts seep in.

But the only fighter I stanned like that due to him being from my immediate area/following his rise/actually being acquaintances was John Duddy. Wanted him to get that Pavlik fight and somehow win. But that's as irrational as I get.

I been stanning paulie malignaggi since the cotto fight. Dude woulda been the true goat if his hands werent made out of paper.

im bout to start turn up my stanning on htis man though:

Paulie aint shyt, and never was he's good thats all

I question how truly skilled he is, he let a Cano who got dominated by shot Mosley box the ever loving shyt out of him, he's a good gatekeeper, the good fighters is able to storm through his gate, and the hype jobs struggle or lose. But his power aint his issue, he's too easy to touch, and that may have something to do with his moxy

Good fighter, I waver on him as you could tell with my post, son has balls of steel, he makes matches tougher than they have to be, respect though........

Calzaghe beat a BHOP thats still dominating and whipping nikkas asses, what more can Joe do, Roy and BHOP did spend most of their latter career ducking him

As far as Roy Calzaghe that was a karma match for Roy, all of that clowning he did vs opponents that couldnt do shyt, and Joe flipped that shyt on him and took the last little bit of soul Roy had in his body, in a brutal beatdown

M unpopular belief slaps and all, Joe is far far better than people admit
But Hopkins got robbed vs. Calzaghe :troll:
It was the worst kind of robbery too. The kind where your opponent out lands you every round and then you have to fake low blows and rabbit punches along with hanging on for dear life just to hear the final bell

Anyway, that Jones fight was :wow:
I was :childplease: at how the commentators were like 'maybe Joe should show Roy more respect'. As if we didn't have to sit through countless fights when Roy was in his prime where he was too busy :stylin: around the ring rather than finishing some of those scrubs he fought early.

It's too bad he retired before Froch got his name out there cause I think he would've beat Froch's ass all over the ring and I think he would have a lot more respect.

Explain

Hopkins was completely exhausted the last 5 rounds. He was desperate, faking low blows, looking to get breaks anyway possible. Joe won those easy.
I know you're not gonna tell me B-Hop shout out the first 7 rounds or even got 6 of them. :usure:

speaking of bhop...i still think segundo mercado beat him in the first fight..it was not a draw

That Naz/Barrera wasn't the slaughter some would say it is. Watch the fight and not the highlights.

I think that fight gets looked at differently in retrospect cause Nas quit boxing shortly afterward. Also, because that extra ether Barrera gave him when he slammed his face into the turnbuckle. :heh:

An 8-4 fight is not a blowout though

Real question that I want answered right here and right now....

How did Floyd get so popular? He isn't exciting. I never thought he had the "charisma" that people says he has. He's a terrible speaker.

Do I dislike the dude? Yeah.

But he's a unique case when it comes to what he's been able to accomplish in boxing. I don't recall a defensive fighter headlining fights in the manner that he did. And while I think he's a piece of shyt. I do think it is really impressive what he's been able to do.

Cool but I can't believe that was enough. You would think with the way he was talking shyt that he was doing every opponent how he did Chico.
