He said he supported a study, so that is where we start.

Don't do the work for them, let them tell you they are going back on their word and won't do anything in support of a reparations platform.

Black men need to fund a white politician thats willing to betray his own people.

Thats the only way reparations will happen... you gotta fund an agent.

The same way they fund agents from our community.

Every black politician is basically an agent funded by the power structure.

mass shootings would skyrocket if reparations happens.

If reparations happens - I'm getting the hell out of America.

The white man gonna declare WAR :russ:

Its gonna be blood overflowing in the streets.

We get messed up in the

judicial system
education system
healthcare system
job/career/entrepreneur system

all due to them denying us our birthright (reparations) that would have been passed down if Andrew Johnson didn't deny it. It's time to pay up

Blood is already flowing in the streets.

an executive order is only a flex on powers the president already has which is mainly executing existing law that congress makes. the president doesn't have power over the budget, Congress does. it's a study pending in the house. house dems do not have the amount of votes it takes to pass the bill.

end thread.

I support the concept of Reparations.

I just know that our colonial enemies typically respond with extreme violence whenever they suffer a political loss at the hands of black men.

I'm just saying - take that reparations money and invest in military equipment because war will most definitely be declared.

I'll be on a flight to East Africa and living in an AirBNB until the war stops:russ:

I'll be watching the events on social media.

Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a co-sponsor of the bill, told reporters earlier this year that he hopes that President Biden considers establishing a commission similar to the one called for in H.R. 40 using executive authority, noting that the chances of the bill passing the Senate "are pretty dim." In the evenly divided Senate, legislation requires 60 votes to overcome a filibuster. A Senate companion bill, sponsored by Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, has just 22 co-sponsors, with no Republicans.

The idea of Biden establishing a commission on his own has also won the support of some activists, including the Rev. Mark Thompson.

"What sets H.R. 40 apart from all of those other pieces of legislation that 'Manchinema' are blocking, is this" he said — using a compound reference to moderate Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. "H.R 40 is the only one ... that Biden can sign and enact by executive order."

The White House hasn't said whether Biden would consider creating a commission on his own.

And what’s going to stop a republican president from undoing it? Clearly that precedent was set when Biden spent the first few weeks of his presidency undoing trumps bullshyt. Executive orders are useful, yes, but can easily be undone unless it is made into a concrete law.

I'm sorry but this is a horrible excuse which you could use on any order. "Why bother doing anything because the next person could undo it"

I get what you're saying.

I'm not scared of these white boys. And I cannot afford to act like these supposed Black people in this thread either. If we don't press an issue out of fear of white backlash that 1) makes us look weak to our children, 2) puts a battery in these whites backs that all they need is to do is scare the negros into submission. It ain't a good look.

Dying on your feet advocating for justice is better than dying on your knees in a corner shivering and trembling.

So if that scenario comes about, it is what it is.

OP is the one who brought up EOs in the first place. I was just pointing out something that challenged the notion.
