how do u have high standards when a large percentage of the fans thinks your product ran its course

people were referring to mainstream hip-hop.

Nah he wasn't but he was still nice enough to get shots in. Lyrically, I think he could get him, if they were subliminals. From the entertaining/jokes aspect of a straight up battle though? Cam would beat him. Just like he got Jay-z and 50 Cent.

i don't mean to pick on jeru. i like jeru but he represents everything that is overrated about '90s emcees. eatable bars. stagnant flows, etc. Camron would destroy him in the '00s. and COC cam would destroy him in the '90s easily.

BUT yea, that's just from an emcee standpoint. I'm gonna take that back to the other thread. now as far as this thread is concerned, i see we agree on the entertainment/diss track aspect. we agree that jeru doesn't stand a chance in that area.

I gotta upp the other thread back up tho.

I actually agree with you on the Jeru thing. It was a level of pretentiousness to him and a shake of overrated which is why we don't talk about Jeru at all unless it's in a Wacky D throwback thread
