Ranking it against recent series that are in that good actor, prestige, vaguely geopolitical/spy/law enforcement shows,
- Definitely not better than Severance
- Not Better than Lionness Season 2, The Penguin, Slow Horses S4
- Even with Silo, Fight Night (slightly better than FN), The Agent (Maybe 95% as good as The Agent)
- Better than Diplomat S1&S2, Black Doves
- Way Better than - Cross, Dune Prophecy, Get Millie Black, The Bear Season 3,
Right now it's lacking whatever sauce they put on shows made for cable. It still feels like this could be on Network TV, ABC or NBC. (Like Pokerface could definitely be a show in NBC proper, not Peacock)
I don't know what's missing
- General production value?
- Set design?
- World Building?
- Dialogue?
- Acting?
- Over use of tropes/lazy character writing?

I haven't watched any of those yet. Last I watched was Day of The Jackal... Loved it. Had the feel of what I would think Golgo 13 would be like if it was based in reality.
If it is catered to network TV, then it wouldn't be as gritty as I would like...

It's a good show. If you "loved" Day of The Jackal - this show has a much more intriguing setting and premise, and I liked DoTJ (shyt I made the OT thread of it in this section)

the number is a airplane call signs and the the reason the president was freaking out is they either nuked America or let someone else nuke America to keep people outside the mountain from being alive and breaking into the mountain. That climate change doesn’t explain everyone dying suddenly even if in theory everyone would be dead in a few years or decades. That’s not how climate change works. Also something on that plane is proof of all of it and that iPad is really the nuclear football the president used to nuke everybody. I also think Sinatra had the president killed by the white boy or his own father did it on his own out of disgust and forgot due to his dementia.
