I just read an interview. The CEO said he copied Ark but wanted more interaction with the "dinosaurs" He wanted to let the Pals do everything you can do and more to create "bonding"...and they threw it on a Breath of the Wild type map cause they are big fans and Palworld is also like a continuation of Craftopia which is also inspired by Breath of the Wild and Ark.

They added the 5 star bounty wanted system from GTA so that you don't killed pals in front of NPCs cause if you they'll come after you.

They made the pals rebellious on purpose to copy Rimeworld.

Said character design was inspired by Dragon Quest. Pokemon design is also inspired by Dragon Quest.

I threw mammoreth at him, shot crossbows and hid behind pillars at level 17.

I was lucky to have a mammoreth. he probably would've killed everything else.

It was a glitchless defeat. I started off with a crossbow and kept headshotting him while hiding behind columns, then used my fake vulpix as a flamethrower until it got KOed. Then went back to the crossbow while sawsbuck (gonna take me a while to get these pal names right) kept his aggro at times.

Never heard of this game before in my life before launch. All the sudden some random offbrand pokemane game the biggest in the world? Quote me 2 weeks from now when this game falls off a cliff

Instead of being normal and learning that the streamer press and free access via xbox gamepass, plus "pokemon + guns" probably blew this up, you go straight to industry conspiracy
