I think Jones and Chido have been pretty equal, Chido just has been flagged more.

Chido got beat MIA game routinely.
B.Jones got worked WASH
Chido gave up the 92 yarder against NYJ
Michael Thomas got what he wanted when we played NO

Outside of those games/plays secondary ain't really been a problem outside the lack of turnovers. It ain't like these boys out there gettin ate up. Even when Anthony Brown was active, nigggas was gettin' ate. Ya'll just expect 4 Dieons.

And I still don't believe that stat where they said teams were 0 and 25 with 10+ yards to go on 3rd down. Then NYG converts it like 4 times

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
LVE only stood out one game for me all season
Bryon is a top 10 corner,,, he dont get int's as much, b/c qb's barely throw to his side... they always pick on Chido.
if we don't sign Bryon, who do we have on our roster that an replace him, any FA's thats worth signing, or draft prospects?
our secondary is our weakest link, and will be weaker w/o byron, who is gonna command a hefty salary maybe.

1. LVE has been playing hurt for most of the season.
2. Byron is an incomplete. He really hasn't been challenge, but always gets caught slipping when he does. If he was that nice, he would shadow the opponents best WR which he doesn't so nah. And saying he's top 10 isn't really a compliment by the way.

They gonna have to replenish through the draft. They have drafted well enough over the past few years. They coaches need to do a better job of coaching them up.

Maybe they need to start finding WR's to convert to cornerbacks :mjpls:

Romo had SB caliber squads in '07, '09 and '14. Frankly the '06 squad could have gotten there if not for the bobbled snap in Seattle. Dallas was good enough to beat NOLA and Chicago that year and get out of the NFC.

When people say Dak hasn't figured it out.........what does that mean exactly? Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Mitch Trubisky, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff.........those are guys that need to figure it out as much if not more than Dak. Who are the young QB's that are clearly outshining him......Mahomes and Deshaun. Neither has won anything and both were drafted high. Dak was expected to sit on the bench for 2 or 3 years and was forced to play right away. In addition he has way more pressure than any other young QB. If he wins and plays well, everyone else (o-line, zeke, defense etc) get the credit and when the team loses, he gets all the blame. Dude outplayed Goff in the NFC Divisional game last year and Dallas likely wins if they don't give up 300 yards rushing.

On top of that, he has Jason Garrett, not Andy Reid or Frank Reich or Sean McVay or John Harbaugh. Dak is one of those guys where the results never match people's perception of him. He will deal with a lot of the same issues that Romo did and may need to win more than one ring just to get any kind of credit.
Dak is an easy target for frustrated fans and opposing ignorant fans who like to try to clown Dallas for the smallest thing.

The Cowboys simply can't take the ball away enough, even factoring in the three turnovers they caused Monday night against the Giants. The only team with fewer interceptions and a winning record is New Orleans, but there can be only one exception to a rule. This isn't simply a 2019 problem. It has been an issue for years. Because of the lack of takeaways, the offense has to drive the length of the field far too many times. It rarely gets easy points. New England leads the NFL with 19 interceptions. After Monday's game against the Giants, the Cowboys have only 23 interceptions in their past 36 games. -- Todd Archer

:snoop:
Turnovers are a + stat but it ain't the only way we've been able to get short field. Gettin' 3 and outs after punts, kickoffs etc has helped in that regard. Our recipe is running the ball and playing solid defense. The turnover will come but it's not what makes this team go.

But what it's worth you can expect sack fumbles and more INTs with the pressure we're gonna be generating over the rest of the season.

LOL. Same Woods taking on doubles last night? The one that go low on two blockers in the goaline situation when Law came off the end and made the tackle (peep how Law threw Saquon's feet ) the Woods that ran down Jones last night when everybody bit on the handoff? The Woods that let Lee run free all night cause linemen ain't gettin to the second level? There's a reason why the LBs have looked the best the last two game and I won't say who was injured before returning against Philly.

Puttin' Woods on your list let me know all I need to know about you saying Chido :smh:

Steve Young put it best during the pregame. This is a front running team. And for the most part, this teams success is predicated upon teams making mistakes. they don't impose their will on anyone.

they are caught up in their own hype. during pregame when they cut to Jaylon Smiths mc when he was huddled up around this team, this nikkas had the never to shout out "this is america's team" :martin:.

these players have accomplished jack shyt, but somehow see themselves as football royalty.

and i'm getting sick and tired of the whole "chip on the shoulder" "fight through adversity" bullshyt talking points. they cause their own gotdamn adversity doing dumb shyt. penalties, turnovers, giving up big plays at the wrong fukking time.

the giants receivers suck ass, playing with a rookie quarterback from duke and they still didn't put the game away until late in the 4th quarter.:pacspit:

:francis:the jets might go 1 - 15 by the way
