One of the most perplexing things about this season has been @BigE214 and @Thegospel fascination with this secondary. From stanning Chido, stanning Heath, have no interest in Minkah, now we're stanning Jones. I wanted Adams becaise he was gonna take Heaths spot. Minkah was taking Woods spot. Is he better than Wooss? Yes. Better to offset the picks given up to get him? Nope. If the Cowboys would have beat the Jets, would you feel better about this team? If they beat NO 13-12, would that change your opinion? We got a lot of football left and that "front running" talk is BS for the media. We lost to GB and coaching sucked against NO and NYJ. Win any of those games and we'd have a better record but ya'll would still be complaining about this team.Steve Young put it best during the pregame. This is a front running team. And for the most part, this teams success is predicated upon teams making mistakes. they don't impose their will on anyone.
they are caught up in their own hype. during pregame when they cut to Jaylon Smiths mc when he was huddled up around this team, this nikkas had the never to shout out "this is america's team".
these players have accomplished jack shyt, but somehow see themselves as football royalty.
and i'm getting sick and tired of the whole "chip on the shoulder" "fight through adversity" bullshyt talking points. they cause their own gotdamn adversity doing dumb shyt. penalties, turnovers, giving up big plays at the wrong fukking time.
the giants receivers suck ass, playing with a rookie quarterback from duke and they still didn't put the game away until late in the 4th quarter.

When did you jump off the Heath bandwagon? The lack of interest at Minkah at all was a little weird without even knowing the compensation.

It's cause S was the least of our problems. We gave up 12 points in a loss to and ya'll talmbout we need to upgrade the S position. Yes, Heath is ass but that ain't a pressing issue cause it ain't like HEATH was outchea losing games. Plus he was a second year player and for as much as ya'll was hyping him, still an unknown. I see him doing his thang against 3rd string QBs though, turn up.
Where is Wilson 
Cause they (i do too) believe in Woods. Plus they already came at him with the earl thomas shyt. And its not like Woods busts coverages or fukks up. He does his job. jumped off heath last year. He used to get turnovers. Hes not the same Heath i used to love

That's where you're mistaking, the fact that it was even a game is what costed them that game. Same play last night and Chido doesn't slip, Woods is sigle high and comes away with an INT. That's personnel and coaching

I would take McCourty over any corner we got. And he's not their best corner Gilmore is.Our so called best defensive lineman who just signed a monster contract has 4.5 sacks. The patriots have 4 players with at least that many.
Robert Quinn came off a 4 game suspension to start the season and he was able to get 6. And he's brand new. I don't care about the name or the brand or the contract. All I see is production breh.
The one defensive back we got that has decent ball skills is regulated to nickel packages because of his size
why the hell they draft Lewis in the first place then. And why this nikka don't bulk up and play fukking safety. 
We've needed an identity on defense for decades. We haven't had it since the Haley, Woodson, Jimmy days.
That comes from coaching and culture.
I think Chido, Lewis, Byron and Woods are good physical and technically sound players but they don't have that edge that comes from playing on a defense with an identity.
That's why teams like Baltimore, Pitt, Seattle, NE, etc can plug in new players every year and have them play like Pro Bowlers.
And some of these players are retreads, off the street, or even former Cowboys rejects.
You send Chido to Baltimore or Seattle, they'd turn him into one of the top CBs.
When you have an identity, you get away with playing "physical" and get away with a lot thus allowing you to play more freely and effectively.
I like Bennett's addition because he may add some of that physical, mean energy that this team has lacked.
Last night the D was ready to fight.
Hopefully, we make that leap on D.
