People just don't know how to evaluate Dak because they're looking at him too hard.

Watching 'First Things First' on FS1. Nick and Bart Scott were shyt talking Dak (of course) and talking about the short passing game. As if the Cowboys don't lead the NFL in yards per attempt.

Dak playing in any other city would be praised as one of the better young QB's in the game. Dak in Dallas.......people act like he's a 10-year vet making rooking mistakes. Lamar and Deshaun would get so much shyt if they played here. Great players but being in Houston and Baltimore allows them to be evaluated with a more even hand. Lamar beating the Pats if he was a Cowboy: "uh yeah that was nice but he only had 163 yards and didn't look like the second coming of Roger Staubach....it only counts when he wins a SB and even then we will only give Zeke, the o-line and the waterboy credit"

Thats the life of a Cowboys QB. People act like Romo wasn't polarizing either. It was split 50/50 with Cowboys fans who loved Romo and the other half wanted him gone. We are the hardest fan base when it comes to the QB position and will accept nothing short of perfection. We could have Jesus Christ himself at QB and the fanbase would still find ways to shyt on him lol.

Woods is the free safety. Jeff is SS.
but byron needs to be franchised more than likely.

I wish we could keep Byron but money is going to be tight and he's going to get paid. I don't see us keeping him:mjcry:
They already said we can pay everybody if we want to :yeshrug:Byron isn’t going anywhere imo. He either gets franchised or gets a long term contract. Chido is the one who will not resigned when it’s his turn.

Ya'll be shyttin' on Chido but when it's time he gettin' a bag too :wow:

My niggga gave up two catches for 24 yards last night. I'm not counting that TD cause I think they were suppose to switch the rub

not from Dallas. But I agree he will get paid. He’d start on a lot of teams regardless of the hate he gets. He’s not a pro bowl guy but he’s a starter on a lot of teams. Including every team in our division

all 23 million miles of useful land
Kirk Cousins in a big prime-time game is all that needs to be said :heh:

If Theilen doesnt play, im not worried about the Vikes at all
we did stuff Barkley for 28 yds, b.u.t giants have a terrible O Line,,, Vikes is much better and Dalvin is feasting... its tough to say right now. If we start off slow as usual, and fall behind its a wrap. Minny defense is decent, and got a good defensive mind coach in Mike Zimmer.

1. Lee is fools gold, he did good for 1 game but LVE needs to be there full time.
2. BJ is a basic CB who doesn't deserve top CB money, you don't pony up big money for CBs who don't get ints.
LVE only stood out one game for me all season
Bryon is a top 10 corner,,, he dont get int's as much, b/c qb's barely throw to his side... they always pick on Chido.
if we don't sign Bryon, who do we have on our roster that an replace him, any FA's thats worth signing, or draft prospects?
our secondary is our weakest link, and will be weaker w/o byron, who is gonna command a hefty salary maybe.

Jaylon played his best game as a Cowboy- just looked more disciplined next to Lee

Lawrence played his best game of the season and was dominate in every aspect

Zeke running these last two games, he's back

Witten needs to be shelved

Woods tha truth

Lee balled

It is what it is with Maher at this point :sadbron:
Maher is too inconsistent.... he'll either win or loose us a game in the playoffs... i don't trust him, when the game is on the line....

Dak doesn't get that luxury in this instance because of weapons that surrounds him. And the team he has this year is easily the more talented any team Romo ever had. The offensive coordinator use to be his back up. He's been there since day one as the starter. He's in his 4th season as a starter. At some point he needs to just get it. And regardless of the intangibles he may possess, he still makes bone headed plays. He doesn't make adjustments that well at the line of scrimmage, he's mobile, but not like his was in college, so his throws have got to be on point. he rarely throws his receivers open. He's still hit or miss. You don't know what you're going to get.

Romo had SB caliber squads in '07, '09 and '14. Frankly the '06 squad could have gotten there if not for the bobbled snap in Seattle. Dallas was good enough to beat NOLA and Chicago that year and get out of the NFC.

When people say Dak hasn't figured it out.........what does that mean exactly? Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Mitch Trubisky, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff.........those are guys that need to figure it out as much if not more than Dak. Who are the young QB's that are clearly outshining him......Mahomes and Deshaun. Neither has won anything and both were drafted high. Dak was expected to sit on the bench for 2 or 3 years and was forced to play right away. In addition he has way more pressure than any other young QB. If he wins and plays well, everyone else (o-line, zeke, defense etc) get the credit and when the team loses, he gets all the blame. Dude outplayed Goff in the NFC Divisional game last year and Dallas likely wins if they don't give up 300 yards rushing.

On top of that, he has Jason Garrett, not Andy Reid or Frank Reich or Sean McVay or John Harbaugh. Dak is one of those guys where the results never match people's perception of him. He will deal with a lot of the same issues that Romo did and may need to win more than one ring just to get any kind of credit.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The Cowboys simply can't take the ball away enough, even factoring in the three turnovers they caused Monday night against the Giants. The only team with fewer interceptions and a winning record is New Orleans, but there can be only one exception to a rule. This isn't simply a 2019 problem. It has been an issue for years. Because of the lack of takeaways, the offense has to drive the length of the field far too many times. It rarely gets easy points. New England leads the NFL with 19 interceptions. After Monday's game against the Giants, the Cowboys have only 23 interceptions in their past 36 games. -- Todd Archer
