Would you take contract with an AAV at $30M or is that still too much?
Honestly I haven't thought too much on it. I just don't think he's worth whatever top QB money is. Hell a lot of,these dudes aren't but I'm not a fan of them teams. I want Dak to get paid so folks like you will critique him correctly like most do others once they get paid. He still getting that 4th rd rookie contract benefit of the doubt bullshyt. I'm sure once he gets paid if he gets paid that shyt getting thrown out the window so from that perspective I want him to get paid. If dude gets paid top money and plays just like this watch how even more folks going to sound like him on Romo lol.

Yea Jerry aint getting rid of him. Our only
Hope is Stephen in his ear and convinces Jerry that Dak isnt worth what he is asking for...

This is the MAIN reason why I think he gets Lincoln in here. He is going to want the best QB-developer out there
Lincoln might be the one because I know I thought Hurts was garbage as fukk and he got dude looking like an actual QB. If anyone can salvage Smith Jr its Lincoln.

This is a fair assessment. :ehh:
Once these guys get paid top money, I want top results. ie. DLaw, Zeke, Martin, etc.
No excuses.
(I do want to see them play without being hamstrung by Garrett and his culture though.)

My only worry is how a lot of folks want to bush Dak and just draft a franchise QB at the top of the draft as if they grow on trees.
How's that working for the Bucs, Titans, Fins, etc.? I think Goff and Mayfield will be fine but they look shaky AF right now too.
And when you are trying to hit on these QBs and missing, you start using up a lot of draft capital to find one and making wild ass moves.
Remember Jerry frantically trying to move up and draft Paxton Lynch? :whew:

Stephen is not someone to put your hope into. He's on the Dak train just as much as Jerry.

TO was a star and Dak is a middle of the road guy. Jerry isn't dumb, he knows Dak ain't elite. Anyone that succeeds playing QB here will be the face of the franchise. Any QB that can routinely hit WRs will gain the respect of the Oline, WRs etc. Bonus if they're white cause the stand for the anthem stuff comes included :mjpls:
Bro Jerry IS a dumbass. He and his trailer trash family don't have the foresight to think up an exit-plan for Dak. He's going to ride this thing into the ground just like he did with Garrett. I still think this team can with Dak it's just going to take an elite coaching staff.

I dont believe that for some reason :patrice:

Dak would have his contract by now if he was :patrice:
I mean they love Dak but not to the level of >$35M AAV.

I think it's Dak's side who is playing hardball right now, not the Joneses.

I could not imagine how you would be right now if they gave him a new deal after Week 3. :russ:

I always disagree with bush Dak and draft a franchise QB take. The reason I disagree is because personally when folks say draft a top of the draft QB I've heard no one say that that QB for sure would work out. Its a chance it could fail but like I've also said Dak isn't good enough IMO obviously that you worry about that. If Dak was good enough he wouldn't have this 50/50 like, split on should we even consider another QB. I know some don't think about that but seriously think about it. How often are franchise qb's that aren't even 30 yet had fan bases so split on if we should try to get another QB if we can? The draft capital made more sense before the rookie scale but as you see with Arizona QB mistakes can easily be corrected more quickly nowadays. You think 10-15 years ago the Cards would pull the QB stunt they pulled the last two years? Hell no because them qb's was getting major money before stepping foot on the field. In old Madden games that happened but IRL hell no.

Now if we have a top pick I hope having allegedly some top qb's this year they wouldn't be out here looking thirsty for the next Paxton Lynch. When you're not top level there is a chance you can be replaced esp when there isn't a big financial commitment to you.

Romo.
We all love Romo now but for a good portion of his career, a lot of Boys fans hated on him and wanted to move from him.
(Conjecture from me based on arguing with my boys, strangers, and ppl online.)
You had one side calling him a Jedi and loving him and the other side that would call him a choker any time he threw an INT or bring up some bullshyt December records.
It wasn't until he started getting hurt constantly at the end of his career and how we had to deal with having trash backups that the entire fanbase started being all in on him.
DIrk had the same type of detractors until he won a chip and became a god in the city.

As far as the QB draft philosophy and the Arizona example, you're right the rookie cap makes it a little easier to move on.
But do you think Jerry Jones would draft a 1st rd "franchise" QB and turn around and draft another the next year who may be better if he was in that position?
I'm not sure Jerry would make those type of bold moves.

Dak/Cowboys situation like Warriors/KD at the end. They put on the press release to get the fans on their side. Highly doubt Dak is asking for more. I think they know he gone. He’ll sign for less somewhere else..probably Chargers. I predict we will try to get at Luck and get caught up in litigation with the Colts for offseason fukkery

Just my theory. Highly doubt Dak is back next season. My question is will Garrett hoe ass be back :martin:
