So basically y'all want a Tom Brady/ Peyton Manning type QB.[/B] The only QB's that look good without talent are HOF's with HOF coaching. Its easy for Rodgers to look good without talent when he's playing against our sorry ass defense and remedial coaches.

Its not like we're out getting the top Free Agents on offense year in year out to help Dak. These are guys we've drafted just like every other team to make the team better. We're not doing anything different than other teams who are trying to win.

They playcalling was fine the 1st 3 weeks when Kellen Moore was calling plays. Since then its been all Garrett and its showing by how poor the offense has looked and old man Witten getting more minutes than he deserves.
Is that too much to ask

nah but seriously, Dak is ok. Damn sure not elite and not the worst. Hes like top 15-18 in my opinion. The problem is he about to be paid like he top 3 and we will never be able to build a defense because of it

I don't envision Dak going anywhere. They got too much invested in him on and off the field. Like it or not, he's established some serious cachet in this franchise and locker room. You don't just give that up when you don't have someone waiting in the wings.
You and the Joneses don't give that average play up. I'd give that shyt up so quick it would make the flash look slower than a turtle in slow mo. That someone waiting in the wings talk is for extraordinary things not average which Dak is currently.

This is all I've been saying duke Alex Smith and Andy Dalton status and folks hyping this cat up like he truly top 5 or some shyt. How often folks hyping up that level of QB like some do Dak? Maybe I'm missing it (which could definitely be the case) but I don't really see that praise like that for those types of qb's. Cats know who they are and that's just that.

You're not 77 years old. Jerry doesn't have the time or patience for a rebuild at the QB position.

You guys need to think about the off the field stuff too b/c at the end of the day the Cowboys are a business first. Getting rid of the face of your organization would have massive implications on the business side of the organization.

Yeah right regarding the business ramifications. What cats going to do stop going to AT&T stadium and buying merchandise? Holla at me when that actually happens because that's a believe it when I see it comment right there.

As far as Jerry's age hate to break it to him but with Dak he might not win before the clock hit zero. He isn't the only problem at all but average QB is never the move IMO. I know nfl teams keep these Andy Dalton types around for forever but that's just stupidity and or lack of draft resources to move up and try for a better QB.

Losing Dak would definitely hurt their bottom line. Attendance went down during those post-Aikman years. Dak is on all their marketing, they sell access to him with their corporate sponsors, and he's a safe ally of Jerry Jones (remember the anthem thing). He also has the respect of the oline, receivers, and the rest of his teammates. You don't throw someone like that in the bushes over a few million dollars. And you definitely don't do it the same year you're transitioning to a new coach. People need to accept that Dak is going to be here for the long term.

Like I said holla back when it happens. Dak isn't Aikman and if they get rid of him its most likely because they got a high first rd draft pick my guy so who are you fooling? You act like I said cut this nikka today and let Rush play. Come on my guy. I don't know if he has the respect of all them nikkas. I don't take what cats say in PC situations all that serious. Most people aren't going to say no wild stuff about anybody so I always take that stereotypical QB has the respect bullshyt with a grain of salt. I also don't care about their "respect" even if it is true. The shyt ain't amounted to no wins recently. I and most fans care about on field stuff not this feels good respect and other bs.

I'm not accepting shyt on Dak until the contract is breaking news. Until then I'm hoping these dudes don't hitch their wagon to a Kirk Cousins level player.

Would you take contract with an AAV at $30M or is that still too much?

Still not buying it bruh. If Jerry is serious about winning and brings in a new coach, that coach will have say over who the QB is. Unless the next HC is from within, I think Dak's gamble on himself is going to bite him in the ass.

I disagree. I think any new head coach (from within or outside) is getting the job knowing he has to take on Dak. C'mon, you think the same guy who forced T.O. on Bill Parcells, is going to all of a sudden acquiesce a huge QB decision to a new head coach he has little familiarity with?

TO was a star and Dak is a middle of the road guy. Jerry isn't dumb, he knows Dak ain't elite. Anyone that succeeds playing QB here will be the face of the franchise. Any QB that can routinely hit WRs will gain the respect of the Oline, WRs etc. Bonus if they're white cause the stand for the anthem stuff comes included :mjpls:

Yea Jerry aint getting rid of him. Our only
Hope is Stephen in his ear and convinces Jerry that Dak isnt worth what he is asking for...

This is the MAIN reason why I think he gets Lincoln in here. He is going to want the best QB-developer out there
