I'll give y'all that. I will counter by saying Romo was also a veteran who had mastered the offense to the point he could call his own plays and put guys in the position to win. Dak isn't there yet and y'all are ready to give up on him. I will also echo what Surreal said and where did all that elevating get us? 8-8 all the damn time. We get rid of Dak, we still stuck with the same problem that existed before he got here and then y'all will do the same thing to the next QB.
Well im not really on the get rid of dak train. Jerry just shouldnt pay him crazy and garrett needs to go first.

And what did that accomplish with Romo?
Where are the titles?
Romo didnt win a title here we all know that. But he was able to elevate his Wrs which made you feel like we could win any game no matter who was playing. Even when Dez was out I still believed we could win games. Without Coop I don't believe we have a chance Sunday

So you want him to save Garrett job like Romo did? So we can continue to tread water right?
Fam as long as Alex Smith jr is our QB we will tread water. Even in LA with Mcvay goff looking rookie yearish again. Its only so long average qb's can pretend. I don't give a fukk about Garrett so don't know what that has to do with shyt but unless you want to lose games to get Jason out of here who don't want to win? The thing is also if Jason goes Dak might go with him because that means we have a top pick in a good QB draft from what those cats say(which we truly won't know for years tbh)

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
How about the defense finally help out

How about creating TOs

How about pinning the opposite offense in their end zone for a shorter field

How about not allowing a 92 yard TD pass

How about the secondary turn the fukk around and look for the damn ball instead of waiting for the WR to catch it and hope you can knock it away :mjpls:

Fixed

Get what you pay for. Go cheap on defense, you get cheap results.

Rod only wants "orphans" and "castoffs" while other coaches are asking for and drafting Pro Bowl/All Pro caliber players. So what he had success with a small percentage?
That's like ONLY buying penny stocks because you had some luck with 2 or 3. The overwhelming majority are JAGs or BUMS.

Rod/Richard should be pounding the table for players LIKE Ramsey or Justin Houston...they pay the offense, make em get some decent players on the other side of the ball.
I just hate this "next guy up" and "we work OUR plan, we don't worry about the guys in front of us" mantras. Nah nikka, Y'ALL way ain't working, you NEED to worry/look at the guy in front of you. "The next man up" theory goes to ish when the next guy isn't good. I don't know how Jerry and the FO look at other teams doing more with "less" (GB, Sea, SF, Indy to name a few) and look at us and think we're okay. Makes no sense, but I get it, his old senile azz just wants to be the guy on TV talking...

How you can look at a guy like Russell Wilson, Sam Darnold, or hell, even Lamar Jackson and think what we've got/been doing is alright. Dak isn't terrible, but sheesh, if you can't be good without ALL PROs at all skills positions that tells me everything...

I want the coach to change, and it should, but I'm worried it'll be the same results. I mean, look at the defense, can't get a turnover if they paid for it. How come all the other teams in the league's players get hands on the ball? Play the ball in the air? Our guys are constantly 10-15 yds off the WR. Tackling used to be our calling card at least, can't even get that. I listen to the podcasts (The Break, Talkin' Cowboys) and all they do (for the most part) is sugarcoat the negatives and get mad at us, the fans, for (rightly) criticizing the FO/organization...I ask myself the same thing everytime I listen, yeah, we fans can be fickle, but why is it that other teams are doing what we WANT TO DO? Teams we think or know that don't have as much talent as us, but are doing the things we want to do (move the ball consistently, turnovers, etc)

Only thing I see from this team is consistent inconsistency. Can't handle success...That, to me, is a sign of coaching...This organization needs to be honest with itself. Do we want to continue to meddle in mediocrity and our 2 decades old accomplishments or do we want to REALLY start to contend for the 6th? If the latter, hard changes need to be made...Loyalty is great, til it ain't and we've been TOO loyal to some guys who haven't been "loyal" to us (with their play/preparation)

I'm sick of seeing this team under-perform. Your first pick in this year's draft hasn't even been active for all the games, but we pass on OBVIOUS needs like safety because we have a Heath:what::unimpressed::mjcry:. I'm telling you, I've seen better coaches get fired for less. It's hard to tell me this organization is COMMITTED to winning another super bowl, because my eyes don't lie nor my ears. And all I (we've) been seeing is poor play and excuses. OT from other teams get hurt and they roll with no issue, our guys get injured and the team implodes, again, coaching....

Just wish this organization would stop playing and get serious about WINNING. I see it with the Pats, Rams, Chiefs, hell, even Oakland. Teams are trying, are we?

I don't envision Dak going anywhere. They got too much invested in him on and off the field. Like it or not, he's established some serious cachet in this franchise and locker room. You don't just give that up when you don't have someone waiting in the wings.
