Floyd walk around weight is probably 160ish, with how he trains all those calories he burn, you would be a fool to think he ain't taking off no weight....

Floyd said in a post prison interview he bulked up to 165, his walk around weight is most likely around then
Interesting -- would love to see that interview. I remember one stating that he lost weight.

He's always never re-hydrated to some ridiculous amount, even in the lower divisions. That's what happens when you fight at your walk around weight and you don't do this once you cash that check (see background):

well oscar was solid in alot of wieght classes... hatton only in one, he only won once at at welterwieght and many think it was a robbey.. he almost got knocked out.... so he goes back down only to come back up for floyd and gets knocked out.
It's a bad argument either way. More important than who is when. Hatton wasn't the same at that point when he fought Pac.

I'm not even going to get into with you. But your arguments could be flipped. Be careful homie...

i mean its just a argument... initially i was just pointing it out when someone claimed floyd fought a better version of hatton... but someone can also counter in floyd favor and say hatton was half the man when he faced manny... there is arguments that can go both ways when ur dealing with floyd and manny.

You can make an argument but doesn't mean it's a good one. And that one isn't, any way you slice it. Hatton was a young, motivated, undefeated champion when Mayweather basically robbed him of his coincidence, beat him at his own game and knocked him out in comic fashion. No coming back from that.

Don't underestimate the greatness of floyds skill. Margarito was ass lets be real, so Mosley beating on Margarito then getting fukked up against Floyd probably shows how good Floyd is and how bad margarito actually was.

Shane should have hung up the gloves right after that ass whooping by Floyd.

I'm not underestimating floyds skills. I know how good he is. I guess I expected a bit more from mosley and I blame the 16 month layoff. Oh well..

How can you prove someone is robbed of their confidence?? Your argument sounds just as ridiculous.. No coming back from the Floyd loss? YET he came back with two wins, one by TKO:mjpls:

That lay off had nothing to do with how that fight went. Mosley had him hurt not once but twice. Floyd took away that punch. Once that happen it was over.

I can't. I can only go by what he said.

It’s [Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri] is going to be a good fighter,” Hatton said to IFL TV. “It was a crushing knockout defeat. Any knockout is tough to come back from. I know when I got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather, anytime Juan Lazcano hit me, I felt like he was going to knock me out. I think he needed a little time to get his confidence back.

I'll be back to post some more quotes on how bad the May fight f*cked him up. Just in case you're that much of a buffoon to think Manny fought a better version. Actually it seems you are.

how is it not if hatton only won one fight at welterwieght and that being to many as a robbery?

u would think he would perform better at light welterwieght, where manny fought him.

When, when, when. The most important W. Again, Oscar returned to 147 because he had greater success there. Does that make Manny's win greater? No. Just can't look at it like that.

Brehs, if Hatton says Floyd shook his confidence, and @JoeClair is providing quotes to back it up....how can you argue?:dwillhuh:

You cant tell Hatton that he WAS still confident even though he's saying himself that he wasnt:heh:

Floyd took that man's soul out of his own mouth.... @seemorecizzy and @JoeClair are right:yeshrug:
