Breh....what?:dahell:

He got that by beating Zab Judah, not because he was highly regarded. He was a journeyman....just like Corrie Sanders when he beat Wladimir. nikka came in the fight with a record of 41 wins, 9 losses, and 6 draws and it was supposed to be a stay busy/showcase fight for Judah leading into the matchup with Floyd, but he lost. Come on now:snoop:
everybody shyts on baldomir:mjlol: average yes but journeyman:patrice: yeah that record is:francis:
but still somehow that shytbird still held the welterweight title for like 6 years:francis:

When, when, when. The most important W. Again, Oscar returned to 147 because he had greater success there. Does that make Manny's win greater? No. Just can't look at it like that.
Hatton only was good in ONE wieght class, he was a loser in the rest... just think for a second... which version of hatton is better?

Oscar was great in many divisions.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
I can't. I can only go by what he said.

It’s [Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri] is going to be a good fighter,” Hatton said to IFL TV. “It was a crushing knockout defeat. Any knockout is tough to come back from. I know when I got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather, anytime Juan Lazcano hit me, I felt like he was going to knock me out. I think he needed a little time to get his confidence back.

I'll be back to post some more quotes on how bad the May fight f*cked him up. Just in case you're that much of a buffoon to think Manny fought a better version. Actually it seems you are.

agree to disagree?? I see things differently.. I dont have to have the last word

Brehs, if Hatton says Floyd shook his confidence, and @JoeClair is providing quotes to back it up....how can you argue?:dwillhuh:

You cant tell Hatton that he WAS still confident even though he's saying himself that he wasnt:heh:

Floyd took that man's soul out of his own mouth.... @seemorecizzy and @JoeClair are right:yeshrug:
Thats not what he said in the quote though.. He said Pac needed a little time to build up his confidence..(if you pay attention to the context) the same way He(Hatton)built back up his confidence after his fight with Floyd.. Pac would've KOd the same "version" of Hatton Floyd fought..

Yes...it's official, but only the Vasyl Lomachenko vs Gamalier Rodriguez fight will be televised along with the Mayweather vs Pacquiao main event. The other 2 fights arent televised.

We are still waiting on TMT to announce the Co-Main Event featuring a TMT Fighter vs someone though.

Floyd walk around weight is probably 160ish, with how he trains all those calories he burn, you would be a fool to think he ain't taking off no weight....

Floyd said in a post prison interview he bulked up to 165, his walk around weight is most likely around then
I would be interested if you found more info on his weights. I think people get confused with Mayweather's weight and hype that he doesn't cut at all.
Floyd is naturally a smaller WW, so it is logical that most his opponents are bigger than him and weigh more than him on fight night.
Floyd always stays in shape, so he probably doesn't have as much weight to cut as other fighters who let themselves go more.
When you see Floyd on fight night, he usually looks like the smaller fighter, but not as small as many would think.
I think 147 is easy for Floyd to make and he probably enters the ring on fight night at 150-155.

I know during Dan's chats he has said he doesn't know Floyd's ring weight because he won't step on the scale, but he highly doubted that he weighs in at 147 and comes into the ring at 147. He said Floyd looks physically closer in size and stronger vs. his opponent than people give him credit for.

Ricky Hatton wasn't the same since he adopted John Ruiz style of fighting and I think his confidence was a bit tarnished in his fight with Collazo.
I don't think any version of Hatton could beat Money or Pac:yeshrug: and this is coming from a Hatton fan

Ricky Hatton says he wasn't the same PERIOD after the Kostya Tszyu fight and he didn't have the same feeling when he fought Mayweather. Also says he wasn't right for the Pacquiao fight either.

Hatton is able to admit now that he was never quite the same fighter after the Tszyu fight, that some deep hunger had left him. “Once you had achieved Mount Everest, you have to really try and psyche yourself up to get going again. I achieved Everest with that Tszyu fight and then it was Maussa for my second world title, Collazo, Urango and so on. You have to psyche yourself up that little bit more to get out of bed in the morning.

“I trained harder than I’d ever done and there were no corners cut. But the hunger I had before the Tszyu fight wasn’t the same before the Mayweather fight. It was just different. You can’t put your finger on what it is. You feel comfortable. If you feel comfortable, what do you do? You sit in your arm chair and relax. I’d reached a stage of comfort.

“By the time of the Mayweather fight, I was ‘Ricky Fatton’. I’d been going up and down in weight since I was 18. My body had been through it. I certainly didn’t feel fresh. I wasn’t right for the Pacquiao fight, either. It was a terrible camp. But no excuses.”
Hatton grins, and throws a fist at an imaginary opponent.

So, that ends that conversation:yeshrug:

And this article is from 2 months ago. Neither one of them fought the best version of Ricky Hatton according to the man himself.

Well the success of beating Kostya Tszyu didn't cause him to spiral out of control on alcohol and drugs like a behind the music special. He might've hit his joy ceiling but he didn't go into the Mayweather fight expecting to lose

How are you gonna dispute the man saying that he was never the same fighter after beating Kostya Tszyu...basically saying that was his peak?:dwillhuh:

You weren't with him sparring in the gym breh:mjpls:

If that man says he was never the same:

"...the hunger I had before the Tszyu fight wasn’t the same before the Mayweather fight. It was just different. You can’t put your finger on what it is. You feel comfortable. If you feel comfortable, what do you do? You sit in your arm chair and relax. I’d reached a stage of comfort.

How can you dispute how HE felt and what HIS body was going through when he's telling you he didn't feel the same and he wasn't right?:dwillhuh:
