An underrated scene comedy-wise was when Marty handed over Zeke to Darlene he whispered "I'm so sorry." with a deadpan expression. I was
breh his face never changes. its the same blank expression"Ruth I need you to be completely honest with me. Did you try to kill me???"
"..........it was a long time ago....."
"NO. It was 3 months ago"
I may be in the minority but fukk Ruth I feel her loyalty wavers, want the cartel to put an end to her beavis lookin ass
This is why Bateman is my favorite actor his face never changes but actually changes a lot if you pay close attention. GOAT deadpanbreh his face never changes. its the same blank expression

He was killed cause he assaulted the daughterso did Ruth know what she was asking Wendy to do? When she implied her father would always just come back, Marty took it as give him a lot of money but Wendy looked at her and said “i understand”. I can’t tell if her in the morgue was supposed to be a “sorry it had to be this way” cry.
About 6 episodes into season 1, show is so good. Marty is a great character. So logical
