Just say you don't care, because that's really the only person you can speak for without speculating. Yes, this is Hip Hop. Some of those articles are written by Hip Hop fans.

Whether it's Coli lingo or not, it's still a trumped up term that's thrown around and attached to entities that people don't like. LOL @ you calling someone clueless when you throw around baseless arguments and turn to "this is Hip Hop" or throw around labels like "commercial", "Hipster" or the ol' "industry plant". I'm clueless, yet you're always quoting my posts.

:camby:

just get out of my culture already.

:russ: Your culture. This is what I'm talking about. You really have this complex where you think you're the end all and be all when it comes to Hip Hop discussions. You need therapy.

I don't think im the end all/be all.

youre just not hip-hop. nowhere near.

people like you make me sick.:pacspit:

Didn't somebody in this thread label OutKast fans elitist? It gets no more elitist than this.

The real violation in this thread is people admitting Mobb Deep fell off after Murda Muzik and still voting for them. Then going on to use the excuse that Mobb Deep's prime >>>>> OutKast's prime as if neither duo continued to make music after that. Now I understand if someone thinks the first three albums from both groups were their best and think the latter three are sub-par or wack. You could make that case based on preference, but to flat out say yeah Mobb Deep fell off, but their first three albums >>>>>> is a weak argument.

mobb deep's prime >>>> outkast's prime
mobb deep's falloff >>>> outkast's falloff

They both fell off after the first 3, the difference is outkast went pop with that stankonia/SBLB shyt:huhldup:

exactly.

I don't see how this is treated as rocket science.

You're taking your self way too seriously. Who made you an authority on what's Hip Hop and what isn't? Who are you to tell me that I'm not Hip Hop? You definitely think you're superior to other posters here as evidenced by the "my culture" statement and saying "You're not Hip Hop". Futhermore, you're in here catching feelings off words on a screen.

Again, saying Mobb Deep's prime >>>> Kast's prime is ignoring the rest of their respective catalogs. It's like people don't want to deal with comparing Infamy, Amerikaz Nightmare, and Blood Money to Stankonia, Speakerboxxx/Love Below, and Idlewild. Then we get the ol' "they went Pop excuse".

You killed your own argument by saying Mobb Deep's falloff >>>>> Kast's falloff.

if outkast is "fluffy" then i know u never listened to em before
:comeon: i been on outkast since southernplayaisticadillacmuzik, with atliens being in my top 10. hey yah and roses are fluffy ass pop tracks breh. outkast aint been the same since bombs over baghdad, and only memorable track they had in the last 10 years was international players anthem. they are not making the same hip hop that mobb deep has consistently done.

man u talking about The Love Below it wasnt even a hip hop album. nobody has yet to copy Kast 4 album run from their debut to Stankonia. Mobb Deep got :flabbynsick: fast, im not even going to bring up that g-unit shyt :scusthov: that new Prodigy tape is the best thing he's done since Quiet Storm. and you put Dre/Big Boi's verses from IPA against anything Mobb Deep has done in the past 13 years and Kast wins everytime.

i agree with all of this, especially the first sentence. which is why i give the better hip hop verdict to the mobb :manny:

if the question was who had bigger hits then my answer would be different. im just speaking on opinion and preference.
