I've lived in an Arab country for an extensive part of my life as did my father. We had it good but I saw some nasty shyt being done to South Asian laborers

yes and no the conflict in Libya is more complicated than that.
They are targeting ethnic tawergah because the opposition( misrata) claims foreign black ethnic groups and tawergha( which are largely a black Libyan ethnic group) were the cause of violence and rapes against the misrata and misrata areas. They claim they supported Gaddafi from video that went viral. Tawergha claim that the rapes didn't happen as prevalent as they claim. Also tawergha and their area were some of the most underdeveloped and least funded areas in Libya under gaddafi. Tawergha were forcable moved from their communities in Libya.
Tawergha claim they received violent attacks from misrata and militias.
Then add into the mix Tuareg coming into Libya to support and fight for gaddafi because gaddafi promised them Libyan citizenship. Plus foreign Islamic extremists groups coming into the area.
And to add more conflict to the mix.
African migrants from other countries coming into Libya to reach Europe and getting taken advantage of by armed militias.

I did a haplogroup analysis and Libyan DNA is around 42-44% Western Asian/Caucasus DNA:
Edit: OK, so I did the MtDNA testing: "Lineages of west Eurasian origin are the most frequent in Libyans (65%), followed by sub-Saharan L lineages (28%), and back to Africa haplogroups U6 and M1, which have an overall frequency of 7%."
So Libyans are majority Arab after you combine their MtDNA and YDNA. Their YDNA is like 42% Eurasian and majority Berber but their MtDNA is 65% is majority Eurasian, with some lingering black ancestry.

My last Syrian "friend" was a genial racist that I tried to avoid, so that is my recent experience with them. The Levant Arabs like Syrian are the worst. In passing Saudis are OK but simply put, one cannot trust Arabs or any people like them as they are deeply anti black, similar and worse in some respects to whites. Somalis like yourself are similar.
In truth, your experience doesn't speak to any black experience in an Arab country because you're a Somali and have Caucasoid features and Arabicized culture. Arabs treat Somalis differently to actual blacks.

Their are Arabize Berbers. Seems like mixed bag of race and ethnic groups.
Kind of like how a Latino and can have family origins in Latin America and be multiracial and but be a second generation American.
They have ethnic background in Latin America but culturally and linguistically they are American.

According to my above genetic MtDNA and YDNA analysis, both you and @Karbaash are wrong. So Libyans are majority Arab after you combine their MtDNA and YDNA. Their YDNA is like 42% Eurasian and 58% Berber, but their other DNA is almost 70% Eurasian, with some lingering black ancestry. Libyans are more Arab than Berber at this point with some minor other mix (could be Tuareg counting as the black ancestry in the sample too as there are Tuareg Libyans whom are more black and different to the upper Libyans themselves). Whatever the case, Libyans are more like Berberized Arabs than Arabicized Berbers. Hence the Arab culture, mannerisms, religion, slaving, etc. Berbers are basically dying out in North African as foreign Eurasians move into their territory unchallenged.
So @MansaMusa was basically correct when he said:
The majority of the Libyan population seems to be Arab-leaning or Arab, hence the high averages. The Berber minority fits the DNA analysis. Most people in Libya now are Arab.

Those are not Arabs. They are not from Arabia. Berbers are actually Africans.
Berbers are Africans. They are the Moors. They look Cacish due to mixing with all of those White women from Europe. The same way that Black people in the USA, Brazil and Europe are getting Whiter and Whiter with all of the race mixing.
