Again. I agree, but to play devil's advocate...I image it is similar to our issues here. In America our government has done PLENTY of wrong and we are still struggling trying to hold them accountable for everything from Slavery, Convict Leasing, Jim Crow, Redlining, Medical Experiments, Police Brutality, Drug Epidemic, Prison Industrial Complex, and more.

Another example would be Chicago, people often say that if you live in a violent place (Chicago or otherwise) just move and make a way for your self. Well, these African migrants are in similar situation where the conflict is so wide spread and obfuscating that they say to them selves, "I just need to leave this place" and unfortunately, some of them end up in situations like the OP.

You leaving your country going through a place that you know is war torn with folk getting snatched up. Either fight or be enslaved/castrated/whateva :yeshrug:

They were not born into slavery. They were captured. Again, I know this easier said than done but it would be better to accept death under those circumstances. If the slavers are armed and they are not, then death would be a better subsitutw than being another man's property.

Many of you blaming these folks for being enslaved is shameful, disgusting and it reeks of real world ignorance due to the comfort of living in countries where a man can become a woman by making a social media announcement and where a paper, not a bullet, determines your citizen rights

He is the worse President in my living memory for what he failed to accomplish--and for his terrible foreign policy. I'll never defend this man again.
