That is rough. Was that a fixed curve?

In my class, professor already came out and stated that the probability of a significant number of kids doing well is very low and the curve was set so that a certain percentage, the top, would get As, a certain percentage for Bs, all the way on down. :smh:

Just checked, it wasn't at my school, but no one took that path :heh:

Did you just finish taking this as a summer semester or taking it now?

You have no idea. That was probably the worst one I had. Those 4 classes, three with labs. Plus I worked in a neurobiology lab and taught three chem lab sections. It was stupid.

Slighty off topic but I need to take Gen Chemistry 1 and 2 next year. I never needed chemistry in High School. If you guys took it do you have any tips? and is it really that hard?

Tips:

- Go to every class
- Review your notes everynight before sleep, even if only for a few min
- Make friends with the people who do well in the class, to study with
- Go to any specialized instruction/tutor groups you can
- Stay on top of your shyt and don't fall behind

Also, 2 was A LOT harder than 1 was for me. It's a lot more math intensive than the first part, which wasn't bad.
