Pau Gasol wasnt the reason we lost....cant blame him.

Kobe beasted, but only had limited shots....cant blame him.

Dwight missed ALOT of FTs...ALOT OF EM, but he still managed to put up good all-around numbers and shot a great percentage from the field....he deserves some blame. However, if this is Dwight on an "off-night", then the NBA is in trouble this season:win:

Steve Nash was 3-9 from the field and 4 assists, 0 defense played:shaq2:

and

Mike Brown was fukking Mike Brown:childplease:.....THEY are the reason we lost this game forreal

We gonna have to just get ourselves together and destroy Portland tomorrow night. See ya in June:yeshrug:

If you insert Ebanks, the squad doesn't really lose much. Artest can still be a terror on defense, but he's a complete liability on offense. Physically he looks great, but it wasn't translating. Ebanks is younger, faster, drives to the basket better... eh.

But Mike Brown's rotations have always been completely ridiculous so we'll never know.

Ebanks has low BBIQ and isn't all that skilled, that can kill the Princeton as much as players like Nash who lack of the ball skills. Someone like Sefolosha would be perfect. He can play a role. A young Rick Fox type would be effective. I might even look into Austin Daye. Artest has strengths that outweigh Ebanks no matter what.

I have no issues with gasol on offense....its the defense of not only gasol but everyone...there was no effort till the last two min....that's inexcusable...defense is effort..its either u do or u dnt...they have to find a way to have Howard cover for nash's weakness. And even tho they won the rebounding battle it shouldn't have been close...again it was the effort.

Gasol actually gave effort, he's just soft with no heart and his rotations are terrible. Dwight's effort in the 4th was terrible. Kobe was invisible at times which is a good thing at this point of Kobe's career but still. When Kobe ain't invisible, he can lose you games as well as win you games. He's too inconsistent. Going to Dwight was a good move but Dwight wasn't close to 100%

And watching Mike Brown coach this team reminds me of Dell Harris coaching us before we got Phil Jackson.

Can someone Jim PLEASE get us a real coach, so we dont go wasting this season.

Steve Nash is the master of the PnR....Jerry Sloan is the master of the PnR offense....what are we waiting for, hire em NOW.

Another part of the offense that's not acceptable is Kobe/Nash not getting ANY free-throw attempts. Damn. I was pretty surprised just reading that.

Nash never makes it to the line much since he primarily only shoots when he's wide open and/or it's late in the game or on the shot clock.

With Kobe, he typically gets most of his free throws from handling the ball so much. If he isn't isolating and backing his man down for a contested shot or trying to drive to the basket with the ball, he's not going to see the line much in this offense. One of the goals was to keep him more fresh by not forcing him to be a shooter AND a facilitator but that also means he will have the ball less, and ultimately, shoot the ball less.

How much yall think Jerry Sloan gon cost? :ld:

I don't think Sloan, Phil, or Pat can save this team. Trades need to be made. I really don't see much wrong outside of Nash. Metta is a nuisance as a starter but he can easily benched for a role player at SF.
