Another part of the offense that's not acceptable is Kobe/Nash not getting ANY free-throw attempts. Damn. I was pretty surprised just reading that.

As a professional basketball player, going 3-14 on your free throws is inexcusable. I am still trying to wrap my head around that....that dude shot 21% from the line :wtf:

As for the game, Lakers fans love to put the blame on Gasol, but he was the least of the Lakers problem tonight. His passing game was on point (especially in the first half).

My biggest concern is Nash; he was invisible all game and looked lost out there.

We're always pissed at gasoft, it's putting Steve Nash in an offense that doesn't suit his strengths that's the problem, mike brown is a terrible terrible coach in every way conceivable and I can't imagine what sick shyt he had to do to get the head coaching job of GOAT franchise.

Phil would just be sitting back and not doing shyt while the Lakers gave up runs. The issues with this roster that people talked about months ago are right out there in the open. Forget Collison and Mayo, even the backups like Beaubois and Crowder have the speed and athleticism that the Lakers have no counter for. If the Lakers aren't doing huge damage inside, other teams are going to be able to work them.

The PnR will kill the Lakers. They will have to run the zone D a lot this year. Gasol and Nash are terrible of PnR rotations and defensive rotations in general. Gasol rotations been a big issue for the Lakers.

I was referring to people that always said Phil won cuz of his talent and he had no real effect on teams. Even as bad as it got towards the end we'd look better with Phil than we do with :whoo:

After watching the game. The Princeton is the best offense to run. Steve Nash needs to be traded. Metta World Peace needs to be bench. He wants too much of a role to be on this starting roster.

:leon:

If you insert Ebanks, the squad doesn't really lose much. Artest can still be a terror on defense, but he's a complete liability on offense. Physically he looks great, but it wasn't translating. Ebanks is younger, faster, drives to the basket better... eh.

But Mike Brown's rotations have always been completely ridiculous so we'll never know.

I have no problems with Pau on offense. I was upset with him defensively but honestly, there was nothing he could do once Fat Curry got that deep. The fact that those interior passes were so easy to make is the problem.

I seen some things I liked from Brown last season. The year is still young but Nash from pre-season and this game, he's might be the worst starting PG in the NBA after being one of the best when the team is built around his strengths. The issue here is not the Princeton as much as you think, it's Nash can't play with this personnel. Might as well start Blake or Duhon.

I have no issues with gasol on offense....its the defense of not only gasol but everyone...there was no effort till the last two min....that's inexcusable...defense is effort..its either u do or u dnt...they have to find a way to have Howard cover for nash's weakness. And even tho they won the rebounding battle it shouldn't have been close...again it was the effort.
