she can be the fire and ice.

pray for khaleesi.

she's the gulliest character on the show. been in the trenches since day 1, sacrificed so much but always brushes herself off and comes back hard.

Maybe episode 5 was a dream.

I don’t see “the bells” being what provokes Dany into being the Mad Queen and burning shyt down.

It’s really a good character moment, I think, if executed better. When she heard the surrender bells, she knew she had already won. King’s Landing was hers. She had, in that moment, gotten all that she had fought and suffered for over the seasons...the Iron Throne.

It was a deciding moment for her. Whether she would accept their surrender and be a good ruler, or whether she would be like “fukk surrender” on some “Mad Queen” shyt and give into her darker impulses like her father did.

She hesitated, but then she succumbed to the latter. It’s not that the bells triggered her. The bells gave her a choice...and due to extenuating circumstances...she made the wrong choice and gave in to impulse.

Have a full season of Winter. Then have another one for the war for Kings Landing. Could have followed Hound and Arya's journey from Winterfell to KL more closely. And NK/WW Journey to Winterfell fukking everyone up in their path. shyt would have been epic.

It took years and gradual escalation for her too. Many people have listed all the shyt that’s happened to Dany over the years (betrayals, abuse, etc.). Hell, even though he was an abusive piece of shyt, Dany didn’t flinch when they poured molten gold over her brother’s head back in season 1. There were plenty of examples throughout the seasons of her gradual escalation and times where her genetic disposition to madness reared its ugly head. Only thing is, people were cheering for her then because her victims weren’t “innocent”.

She decided to give into her darkest impulses when she burned a city full of innocent men, women, and children even after they surrendered. Even after she had won. That’s when she went full-on “Mad Queen”.

He also said it would take 5 more seasons to tell the story properly and they gotta get to writing their "what if slavery" still existed show so

There is no excuse for the decline in quality. This is probably the highest rated show on HBO and is probably making HBO a fukkton of money.

1) Couldn't HBO order several more seasons?
2) If those two guys are 'burned out' from working on GoT couldn't they just hire new writers in their stead and move into a passive, supervisory role? (or just have GRRM supervise while they work on other projects)
3) If they're worried about the show dragging on for too long they can always introduce new protagonists to keep it fresh.

I don't know man. Just throwing random shyt out there. The writing is just so bad that it's beyond unprofessional and it's insulting to their fanbase. There's no excuse for any of this shyt. Season 7 was supposed to be the last season but HBO begged these idiots to do one more.

This makes sense to why Bran would become King. If Jon is no longer eligible.

There was no reason for her to do what she did, to boil it down to genetics or people betraying her is lazy, crossing the line at that moment is shytty writing 'after all the shyt that has happened to me, I've finally won, I've got it all........let me go crazy NOW yay' nah not buying it.
