I didn't love it or hate it. It was just meh. The show needed at least two more seasons. I'll even say it needed three. But then people would bytch about things being dragged out. I won't say that it's the worst finale ever, because that title has many contenders to fight over it. Seinfeld, Lost, The Sopranos, Quantum Leap, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica. It's on the list though.
I feel like BG would have gone down better if it wasn't for the religious crap and a whole bunch of people turning out to be Cylons.

I didn't even post in the main thread until after the Finale cause I didn't want to be spoiled. I can't take anybody serious who defends how this shyt played out. Been watching this show for like 9 years, that's the most empty I've felt for a series finale ever.

it's absolutely insane how awful season 8 is man
no soul, no logic, no pacing
i don't know how the jon snow sequel series can fix this. the vibe was completely ruined by the end of the show. think about it. the jousts and medieval themed music and vibes just completely fukking disappeared, half the time the non main character people just stand around doing nothing like a bunch of npcs while everyone else spews bad dialogue about cock, balls, and wine, and there's just long stretches where nothing is happening aside from that occasional bad dialogue and you're sitting there listening to wind/wood creaking or other atmospheric sounds while almost nothing relevant to the plot happens.

just night and day it terms of that feeling.
