Just read some of these spoilers earlier by accident

If this is true, which I suspect it’s not because of the pure absurdity of it all, I don’t see how this is bittersweet at all. shyt is a complete trainwreck.. but damn the meltdowns will be hilarious. The showrunners really saying fukk your favorite characters and ending this shyt with straight chaos :lolbron:

GRRM found the ASOIAF manuscripts in a dumpster 30 years ago, got em published under his name and was just hoping he’d die before anyone needed to know how it all ends :mjcry:

This is gonna make people anticipate the books even more, to get the real ending.

Dany going mad over bells ringing. Come on man. There's gotta be some insider story to explain why D&D turned down a blank check to half ass this shyt instead. This needed to be an 8-10 episode season. If these leaks are true this ending will be a colossal failure that will be talked about for years. And it could have been avoided with better writing and a longer season. They're forcing this shyt to end, and ruining characters in the process.

This is a 100% GRM ending

People on Reddit speculated this. But GRRM only gave them the ending and major events before that . D&D fukked up the transition from show-only events to the real ending

I'm think everything here in episodes 4 - 6 happen in the book.

Dany/Jon def happens in the book. I’m almost certain of that. I’m not sure everything else but GRRM considers Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Bran and Arya the main characters so I’m assuming they at least consulted with him about the endgame for those characters.

Even if this was the book’s ending he will probably re-write it due to the backlash. Even tho I think he would probably make this ending seem more interesting and coherent.

Yeah I think GRM told them the ending. But D&D had to basically make 3 seasons of filler in between that.

So they hyped up the White Walkers to kill time. As a bonus, the White Walkers helped had them weaken Dany army enough to make Cersei a threat for the endgame

The more I think about it, Bran being an immortal, wise King could be interesting.

if GRRM ever does a sequel, we could have some sort of medieval Minority Report thing. Maybe some people get tired and paranoid, try to get the White Walkers to come through? Essos had their own Long Night, maybe that comes into play

GRRM is on record saying he wanted them to do at least 10 or 11 seasons. The only reason HBO is doing the spin offs is because D&D refused to do more seasons. billions ? Idk about that but yes it makes them money but again the show itself expensive to make and the cast is getting more expensive, the source material ran out as well. You know how long it took them to film the battle at winterfell?
