Football sucks more and more each year college and pro
Bortles is a good player.
No one talks about how NFL offensive records have basically been made irrelevant by the ongoing rule changes. I feel this should be a bigger talking point![]()
This. Teams allowing 20 points a game should not be top ten in points allowed. 9 seasons ago (2006), the top defense allowed 12.6 points a game I think. I know it was under 13. The league leader these days allows usually 14.5-17 points a game. I think maybe all the bottom 10 defenses allowed 27+, and even back in 2011, New England and Green Bay both allowed some 4,830 passing yards, the two highest totals in league history and won 13 and 15 games. That should be all that needs to be said.Defense is basically illegal these days
It's more about teams taking advantages of match ups than anything. Adapt or die right?
Got us in the playoffs thoughCheckdown Teddy![]()
Of course it's the rules not the teams fault were just pointing out how garbage the product is now
It's not fun to watch anymore . The games now catered strictly to fantasy. If you're a hardcore football fan it's unwatchable
So compare not watching tv to people telling you to uproot your life....had to include a "cac'ism" for cheap daps? Ain't you half cac?I'm still tuning in, I love the game, but that doesn't mean I'm not highly disgusted by the trend. This type of rhetoric is always used by super patriotic cacs in regards to shyt here in US- "if you don't like some shyt here why don't u move somewhere else"type of bullshyt
NFL is still the best football league in the world, simply by the virtue of the best talent gathered there and parity. How this talent is being classified and utilized and marketed is another question.
The rules have something to do with it, but its also harder to run the ball. All of the good athletes with size play defense now....linebackers run like running backs. Why just waste downs running up the middle when you can spread teams out and take advantage of matchups? Its a combination of the rules and matchup plays...
High schools and colleges have done the same. It isnt just the NFL.
