Kirk Cousins surpassed a Super Bowl winning QB (I know Doug Williams won the game but still) in the franchise record for single season passing yards. That says it all.No one talks about how NFL offensive records have basically been made irrelevant by the ongoing rule changes. I feel this should be a bigger talking point![]()
I'm still tuning in, I love the game, but that doesn't mean I'm not highly disgusted by the trend. This type of rhetoric is always used by super patriotic cacs in regards to shyt here in US- "if you don't like some shyt here why don't u move somewhere else"Errybody make theface yet tune in erry Sunday

I don't hate change. I hate defense and running game being an afterthought these days and all talk being about the passing game and polishing qbs dikks.because people hate changethey ridicule the sport for what it is today but when changes happen they're still upset
why is this a bad thing?

whats really troubling is how even the casuals will tell you that quarterback play is some of the worst they have ever seen across a lot of the league, yet these guys are still putting up crazy passing numbers. my interest in the nfl this year is at an all time low. i just have no interest in a football league where guys like matt ryan and blake bortles, who were complete utter garbage this season, threw for 4500 passing yards. it is an absolute trash product, on and off the fieldI don't hate change. I hate defense and running game being an afterthought these days and all talk being about the passing game and polishing qbs dikks.
If there's a change to benefit defense and running backs, I will be endorsing it.
Why is it a good thing?
Football is a complex game that has many facets. This trend makes the NFL (football at highest level) more one-dimensional. It's bad enough way more emphasis is placed on scoring that the defenses are faced with a huge handicap, but now the passing is getting skewed. As a result football is pushing more and more about qb and the rest, when the game is a team game about 22 men vs 22 men.
Why would anyone want to play an ILB nowadays? The pay is shyt, you're at a disadvantage most of the time (being on defense is already a disadvantage because of its reactive nature) , you're less popular than the qb even if you're elite and be isn't, and teams think you're replaceable enough.
The game is becoming a finesse far cry from the game I love. Maybe if you view football as pure entertainment and storyline bullshyt, its ok to you. It's not ok to me, I don't watch football for entertainment or bullshyt stories. I want to see a game played fairly. What I see is instead is pussification and penalize toon of football plays.
The whole concussion thing is a joke. Football is a physical sport. You will get hit hard. So is boxing. You will get hit hard. I'm fine with a qb or a high stature player being out for the year - that's how shyt is, football is physical. I don't care for clowns who watch for entertainment factor not getting entertained as a result of talent getting injured. Talented players getting injured is a part of the game of football. Trying to turn it into flag football is despicable.
Matt Stafford passed for more yards in a season than Joe Montana, Steve Young, Kurt Warner, Warren Moon or Dan Foutsshyt's jokes.
Bortles is a good player.I remember when 3000 passing yards was a great year for a qb and reaching 30,000 passing yards was a astute number for a career now its a friggin joke
Blake crummy bottles had like 4,000 passing yards and over 30 tds
