One thing I don't like about the Marvel movies is the lame humor

i prefer my movies based off of comics meant for children to be filled with adult themes, gore and gratuitous violence

Comics are filled with adult themes and the violence can be pushing it at times.

Also depends on the book and who its target audience is. By proxy, adults are going to be interested as well since we grew up with it but they also have to serve the kiddies. It's a tight bind. You get past that by just making it rated R or at least a hard PG 13 but thats not fit for everything. Like we said before, Kraven's Last Hunt should be PG 13 at the least and not just because of the violence but the tone of the story and the way Kraven goes out. Secret Wars could be PG with no problem. Guardians, even though it's not hard R or anything, definitely had some stuff in there purely for adults. The Jackson Pollack line or damn near anything in the prison. To just say "well it's for kids therefore..." is simplistic and ignores stories that really aren't for kids or at least would appeal more to adults.

ran into a dude on the internet last week complaining the marvel CARTOONS were too lame,jokey and not serious enough.

listen.....all this shyt is for kids, they trying to sell toys and tshirts and shyt, the movies are just to push more product to as big as audience as possible.$$$ always wins. And studies show corny jokes = $$$$

The mandarin fake out was just to please China($$$).

Watch CNN Newsroom if you want adult drama, they have the best story lines anyway,no corny jokes(although the entire channel itself is a big joke), and its super realistic.

I dont mind the jokes, but atleast dont write semingly the same dialogue for any avenger..its like they all pick lines to say out of a hat....

Also "dance off" ruined by far my fav marvel movie to that point. I love GOTG but always turn it off before that bullshyt.

And its not about "caping" or defending but more of just correcting.

Everyone knows what a dance off is.... when 2 or more people dance in competition with each other. To anyone that never saw that movie, statements like that is what people are gonna assume. Its not getting simplified and dismissed as "there was a cypha and instead of fighting 2 characters danced."

Thats kinda unfair and that is smearing what actually happened.

Again, I get it I get it I get it. I get why some folks are turned off by what happened but it would be nice if cats would be a little bit more accurate. It takes 2 to "dance off" and I dont recall Ronan or anyone else dancing.

Not for nothing the villain in SS was dancing too and typically the same peeps that bash GOTG1 loved SS or had no problem with that. She over there wiggling and shaking her ass.
