Empire strikes back
Nolan is a good DC. Also he built our 3-4 D just was a shytty head coach

he wont ever agree but Id take him over Mangini easily

Brought in Justin Smith (possibly the best FA in franchise history), drafted Willis, made a successful switch from 4-3 to 3-4Nolan
Bring him back?
Y'all were just saying that it can't get worse than Mangini
Well it ain't happening because he used to be our HC. But like like I've said a guy like him is a better candidate than Mangini for DC imoI didn't say that. But Nolan coming back just isn't a good idea. And it's not cuz I think he sucks. I think he's be an upgrade but Nolan breh? Nolan? Nowin? Suit boy?
yall reading too much into itKelly seems lukewarm on Kap. Every time Kap was mentioned he kept bringing up Blaine. Didn't really big up Kap. Like Harbs did Alex when he was first hired. Kelly is probably not as high on Kap as we initially thought
yall reading too much into it
hes just careful to not say too much or sway things one way or the other
fact is, the two qbs been kinda similar last season performance-wise. kaep is recovering from injury/surgery and is owed a lot of money. plus chip has no say in personnel.
why would he publicly endorse either one of them if no one knows whats about to happen. kaep or gabbert might get traded by baalke, kaep might be on IR, gabbert can beat out kaep in a competition...theres no way to predict shyt, so theres no reason to give a vote of confidence when chip just arrived and knows very little.
Now I hope mangini stays, at least the players have learned his system
But it's not like that system leads to anything more than an inconsistent defense :ninercry:
