I mean...usually you want a solid pick in first round; I agree with you about mid-rounds actually, because thats where you win drafts. but in first round, usually you want a solid pick who can play right away and be good. doesnt have to be amazing, just not a bust. especially on a rebuilding team. top 10 is when you can think of picking up a superstar.I feel you, but I'm moving away from being stuck on first rounders outside of elite linemen and the occasional can't miss QB. Having a good 2nd-4th round draft >>> 1st round....but maybe I feel this way because baalke been shyt in the first and Seattle balling out with 6th round picks
problem with teams who have shytty drafts is that the teams are shytty and they want a miracle and they get a player who is likely to bust simply he has a real high potential, when instead they should be getting exactly the opposite- maybe someone not spectacular, but someone who can step in and be a solid player for years.
