If you want to sit here and at like there was not great talent across the board when he got here be my guest
No one is arguing this.

Any Guard we want to get can be had in the 2nd round and after. Right now, the line looks like it'll be Staley-Tiller-Kilgore-*****-Brown. If AD comes back and kicks to guard, that's great. If not, we still have Brandon Thomas even though nobody knows what we have in him. Drafting a guard in the first round, I don't think, is the highest priority.
I'm firmly in the "We need to draft a #1 receiver" boat. We haven't had a true #1 receiver since T.O. Every year we bring in bargain basement receivers and try to find a diamond in the rough. What's that gotten us? We need to finally draft a #1 receiver. I doubt Boldin comes back next year.
If we're not going to go WR with the #1 pick, then we damn sure better go ILB.
TE is another concern, but remember we stashed Busta Anderson on IR.
We should be good at RB, but we'll still probably draft one or two.
QB is the tricky one, though. Depending on who the coach is, we may or may not draft a QB with our first pick.
Oh yeah. There was no talent at all on this team before Harbaugh got here. He built it from the ground up.

I hope they trade the pick. The best player is Jalen Ramsey but he won't be there when we pickI agree we need lineman, but I'm okay with BPA if we get the right VALUE for the pick. Trade that pick for more players, but I'm not sure Baalke knows how to find any WR worth a damn in the draft.
